Mr [redacted] presents himself in a very friendly and professional matter....that is where the honeymoon endsDuring the course of our contract with him in November of 2011, he continued to drag the process of his work outWhen questioned about some sub standard observations, he would always reply, "If you aren't happy with the job when we are finished, I will make it right until you are satisfied" He even alludes to that on his current web site,...100% satisfaction He would not correct the sub standard items that were pointed out to him...deck that sunk, metal roof over deck that had silicone caulking every where to fill in gaps...metal roofing is overlaid ...never have seen it installed with caulking ...then again never have seen panels laid with gaps eitherNails were protruding EVERYWHERE and were in plain site In a nutshell, he refused to effect repairs and we had to sue him for the money that was already paid to him to start the projectWe won our lawsuit in April of and have yet to see a pennyHe has told us that we will never see a penny...so far at least regarding that, he is accurateWe are submitting this to hopefully prevent someone else from experiencing what we did with Matthews Contracting
