of California SB800 laws. Under these laws, the windows have a warranty period of one year. Our warranty manual and information provided to the original purchaser also stated that the warranty period was one year. The complaint states that this became an issue on 02/01/2012 which would be over 2 and 1/2 years after the one year warranty had already expired. Manufacture warranties can be for longer periods but the window company (Y.T. Glass and windows) is no longer in business. Replacing glass or units at this time would be the responsibility of the property owner

If I could put zero stars I would. I have heard every single excuse possible from this company; excuses as poor as 'my dog ate my homework' equivalent. The contracts manager, Gary Smith, in my opinion is an utter cowboy; similarly the construction director, Paul English is of his calibre. They ignore your calls and emails; they try to blame any issues on any fault but their own; their builders have made threats and got violent in front of my two year old daughter, when their poor work has been challenged, the police had to get involved; and there are works still outstanding from almost 2 years ago.

I am not sure how these cowboys sleeps at night, but avoid them like a plague. They are by far the worst developers out of all. Small, cheap, low quality, lazy developer. Please do not make the same mistake we made

Review: Two windows in my house are defective and will not open. Two sliding glass doors in my house have mildew in between the panes. I've tried contacting Matthew's homes several times and have been unable to reach anyone. My newer home should still be under warranty and I want my windows/sliders fixed.Desired Settlement: I would like the windows and sliding glass doors replaced.
