Experiencing sudden pain and profuse bleeding, I called Prima Medical Group on [redacted] on a Friday morning, attempting to reach my doctorThe automatic routing of their phone system took far too long before reaching a live personAfter explaining my symptoms, I was promised a return callIt came eight hours later, at pm on a FridayAs it turns out, the presiding (and I guess only) Prima doctor was on vacationNot even a nurse was available for consultThey did not suggest Urgent Care or ER as an optionUtterly useless! Most importantly, they did not tell me my doctor had left their practice! I finally was able to reach himGiven my symptoms, his office scheduled an immediate appointment and performed an emergency surgeryI’ve never had to deal with medical professionals such as Prima Medical Group who were unable or unwilling to contact their physician in an emergency situation I was lucky; otherwise I would have racked up thousands of dollars at the local Emergency Room, thanks to these incompetent and unprofessional peopleI wouldn’t trust my health care to this groupAnd won’t! Don’t make the same mistakeIt could cost you much more than money
