I have heard nothing from [redacted] since an email on Thursday 5/1/2014, telling me he was going to cancel his afternoon appointments to get this settled between his company, [redacted] and me.  I followed up a week later and have still heard nothing.  As it stands, he has about $1,600 of my money and I have no door or tile.  I guess I will have to proceed to court against both companies.
 
When you close a case as no response, does the company still retain their "A" rating?  In my opinion, this company has been a failure an several counts.

Review: We hired this company to remodel 2 and 1/2 baths. It took from 2/18 to 4/1 to do the master bath (and it's still not complete). On 4/2 I was told I would be called in a day or 2 about scheduling the remodeling of the remaining bath and a half. After 2 attempts to contact the company with no response, on 4/15 I emailed to cancel the rest of the job and listed the 4 items needed to complete the master bath. Still no reply. On 4/18 I again emailed a cancellation and listed the 4 items needed to complete the master bath part of the job. I finally received a reply with the same type of excuses I've heard for the whole time I've done business with this company The main 2 items I want now is the $1,494 for the glass shower door that was supposed to be installed between 4/25 and 4/27 and those dates were later than the original expected dates. I would also like the $71 box of tile that I was charged for because they came up 1 piece short.On 4/22 I received an email that their truck broke down on the way to my house and here it is 4/28 and it's still not here. On 4/25 received an email to advise of a new installation date for the shower door, again no action.Bottom line I'm tired of lies and excuses and just want my money for the shower door and the tile I paid for. I'll pay someone else to finish the job because I want no further dealings with this company.Desired Settlement: Refund the $1,494 for the glass shower door. I also want the $71 box of extra tile I paid for.

Contractor was dishonest, late, often completely absent and communications sorely lacking. Job was "completed" yet never responded to the multiple attempts to contact him to resolve safety con pacers as well as other follow up items previously agreed to. Contractor attempted to add 20% to invoices that were not itemized and played the role of general contractor when that had never been agreed to. Difficult to work with, communicate with and integrity is clearly lacking.
