This is in response to Case #XXXXXXX.
Mattoon Auto Sales is a full service used vehicle sales and service dealership. Customer service is very important to us. We have a sales office and an 8 bay repair facility staffed with a professional sales and service manager as well as professional mechanics. We have been in business since November of 2011 and have sold over 260 used vehicles during the past 4 years. Each vehicle in our inventory is thoroughly inspected by our mechanics and a comprehensive vehicle inspection form is completed prior to displaying it on the sales lot. We also provide a 90 Day warranty from CARS Protection Plus that covers major engine and power train.
Most of our customers have few to no mechanical problems with their vehicle, however we do sell used vehicles so there are sometimes issues. When a problem does arise the majority of our customers bring the vehicle to our shop so we can diagnose it and together with the customer determine the best resolution. The customer in this instance has never brought her vehicle to us. She has complained multiple times and sent numerous "less than respectful" text messages to our manager, however, despite repeated request to do so, she has never brought the vehicle to our shop.
