Review: On Friday, July 11, 2014, I went into Mattress Fair of Allentown located [redacted] in [redacted], PA. I was assisted by a saleswoman named Tina. I purchased two complete sets of twin beds. The mattress and box springs sold at $249.00 each and of the bed frames sold for $49.95 each. The total price for this purchase amounted to $633.00, which I paid for in full with cash.l The beds were delivered to my home at on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Everything with the purchase seemed fine until the early morning hours of Thursday, August, 7, 2014. On this morning my son informed me that he saw a bug in his bed and he also had several bites on his back. I immediately inspected the bed and to my horror I discovered that the box spring was infested with bed bugs. I proceeded to inspect the other bed and found that bed to be infected also. I immediately took photographs and videos of the situation and them removed the beds from my home. As soon as the store opened for business, I called and spoke with the manager. I explained the matter to him and was told that I did not purchase the beds from his establishment. I insured him that the beds were indeed purchased from his establishment. This is when I was told that I probably had the bed bugs in my home already. His response to my concern upset me. I decided to pay a visit to the store in person. Upon arriving at the store I phoned the police. Once the police arrived I gave him all of the information I had. Then officer then went inside the store where he was told by the manager that he did not want me to enter his establishment. I am now in the process of filing complaints with The Revdex.com and and Civil Complaint in court. l am very upset with this matter and would like a for this business to refund me the total amount I paid for the beds and any other costs that I have incurred associated with this. matter.Desired Settlement: I would like a full cash refund to be returned to me.

I receive the product from my manufacturer ([redacted] Mattress Company) in factory sealed plastic bags. [redacted]’s phone number is [redacted]; feel free to call with inquiries. They were delivered July 15, 2014 the same way that I receive them and have been receiving the product for over 30 years in factory sealed bags.On August 7, 2014, this customer called my store and accused us of delivering refurbished box springs. I explained to customer that I only sell and deliver brand new factory sealed mattresses and box springs. This is evidenced by the white law tag attached to the mattresses and box springs. At no time did I deny that customer purchased the beds here. I told the customer that the problem did not originate in these beds. Also, when the police arrived, I did not tell the officer that I did not want her to enter store.I am truly sorry that this customer has this problem. However, the bed bugs did not come from my establishment.Sincerely,Frank WPresidentMattress Fair of Allentown, Inc.
