We had a grand opening event during the weekend of October 8thJeff informed Ms*** the bed should be delivered to us on October 19th barring any factory setbacksI (Chris ***) had received a missed call and message from Ms *** inquiring about the purchaseI had called Serta and left a
message I explained to her that I had talked with Jeff and made a call to Serta, but wasn't sure when it would be arriving, but typically the trucks came in on Wednesdays & Thursdays so it would likely be next weekShe then became Irate and demanded her money back stating this was a load of St and she could get her bed faster elsewhereI told her I wasn't able to make that call and referred her to JeffI spoke with Jeff later that day and he told me she was very rude and cursing at him and just couldn't understand what the setback wasJeff said we would refund her money back, but due to company policy of Special Order Cancellation we would be keeping a 20% depositThis is standard practice throughout the industry and shouldn't come as too much of a surprise.She stopped into the store the following Monday and as we tried explaining this to her she became belligerent and started slamming stuff around on our desk and told us we were a F-ing joke and much moreI told her I was sorry for the inconvenience, but it was out of our hands at that pointShe then called her husband and he calmed her slightly and she decided to stick with the purchaseOnce we received and delivered the bed using a third party service, I entered her into day, night Discover America Event that came with her qualifying purchase; this also included new luggage bags as wellAfter that we haven't had any further contact with Ms ***, but I feel we did everything we could to accommodate her and explain to her the situation at hand

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I disagree with the business statement he made. There was never any talk of a delay or a restock fee. Most legitimate businesses post this information in the store so it's visible and include this in paperwork/purchase agreement. Not go to their printer and hand it to a customer after a 2 week delay. Jeff was the one that shut the office door on my face and he wonders why he had an upset customer. Buyers beware do not go to this store.
