home through the winter so we wrote it up on a purchase agreement with $2500 earnest money down. They then called us around the February 1st telling me they had changed directions and they then demanded there earnest money back. They also talked about paperwork that needed to be turned into the state of Minnesota.  I have been in the business licensed selling mobile homes in the state of Minnesota for almost twenty years I have no idea what paperwork the buyer is describing that needs to be filed with the state of Minnesota. I had informed them that we had a legal binding purchase agreement and that I had agreed to hold the home for the winter until we I could Deliver and set the home up in the spring therefore taking the home off the market. The buyers gave me reason to believe they shopped around after the Purchase agreement had been signed and earnest money put down that they found a better deal at another manufactured home dealer Excelsior Homes. When you sign a purchase agreement and put earnest money down to hold a home and you decide to go in another direction you don't get your money back.
