Matt's Vintage Motorcycles Reviews (4)

Good Afternoon!
This is in response to complaint [redacted] filed 03/07/2016.  I went to Matt's Vintage Motorcycle shop...

to see if there were any postings on the window or door & maybe find a phone# or a way to contact him.  There were several people in the parking lot so I asked if anyone knew Matt [redacted], one gentlemen told me that he was the owner of the building where the shop was.  When I explained the situation he said there were a few motorcycles left in the storage yard & took me to look at what was left there.  My motorcycle was one of the motorcycles left in the yard.  I was told by the owner he couldn't let me take the motorcycle before he talked to Matt.  After contacting Matt he told me to get my motorcycle & any parts I could find that were mine, no parts were found.  When I got home Matt called & told me where the parts were & I could go back to the shop & get them whenever I wanted too.  So I will be going backtomorrow to get all of my things.
Since my motorcycle has been returned I would like to have this case closed.
Thank You for your assistance.

Re: Matt's Vintage Motorcycle, Auburn, CA
Today I drove up to Auburn, CA to see if the business was still...

operating.  The company was still in business and the owner, [redacted], just happened to be there.  He said due to "problems" that he was operating the business by himself.  He gave me a new phone number, said that he had found the part for my bike and would get back to me shortly. Please cancel my complaint.  I believe the problem has been resolved.
I appreciate your help in this matter.  Please contact me with any questions you may have.
Thank you.

Review: On 9/7/14. Matt's Vintage Motorcycles picked up my 1974 Yamaha. They were to service the bike with an initial estimate of $200. I called a number of times and spoke with [redacted] and [redacted] (the mechanic). I stopped by one Saturday and Matt wasn't there, I stoke with [redacted]. He said they were having problems finding a distributor cap for the bike and they would get back with me shortly. I have not heard from them. I called today and the business phone number for Matt's Vintage Motorcycles ([redacted]) has been disconnected.Desired Settlement: I would like my 1974 Yamaha returned to me.

Review: In October 2015 I took my 1965 Honda S90 motorcycle to Matt's Vintage Motorcycle for some restoration work. Matt had several other bikes to work on before he could get to mine. The agreement was, when he completed the other bikes he would work on mine & would call when he finished. I gave Matt all the parts he would need to complete the work. In Jan. 2016 I called him several time & even drove to his shop in Auburn 3 times to see the progress & find out when I could pick up my bike. I never got a return call from him & there wasn't anyone at the shop when I went there. I have heard he was going to retire so again I make an attempt to contact him with no success. He now has my Honda & all the parts & I'm unable to contact him to find out where my Honda is. Because I don't have any personal information for Matt I'm unable to recover my property.Desired Settlement: I would like to obtain whatever information I can to contact Matt & get my Honda & all the parts returned to me.
