We are currently working with the homeowner to resolve any issues with this project. Thank you

Mr. M[redacted]...

did send an employee out to assess the issues. The only thing I didn't get from Mr. M[redacted] is confirmation that he talked with his employee and agrees to fix them. It was recommended that we wait til spring and that to fix the water sitting against our house they would need to take out two slabs instead of one, also the employee wssn't aware of the front walkway step needing to be done. I would just like to know that he's aware and is going to fix them. Thank you
Final Business Response /* (4000, 10, 2016/01/05) */
Yes we will return in the spring to finish any repairs

was booked solid currently but I would replace the issues before the season is over. As far as I know that was the agreement, he has tried to text me about these issues since I was out there already once. I apologized for the lack of communication but assured him we will resolve these issues.

Steve was first contacted as early as August 2014 and while he did finally come out in April 2015 to epoxy fill one of the cracks, (1) it took him this long to come out, and (2) he simply applied a band-aid. I have an independent contractor that has viewed the driveway and believes there are fundamental issues that will require this driveway to be repoured. First, no expansion joints were installed between the old and new concrete (ie. the driveway and the house), this will continue to cause cracking. Next, the base under the concrete is not level as there are very steep areas towards the bottom of the driveway that suggest the driveway was not properly graded prior to pouring concrete. Lastly, the control joints that were cut to provide the concrete places to crack are ineffective, and the driveway is cracking in multiple areas. As a final comment, why should I pay for concrete or anything due to poor workmanship? Does this make sense to anyone? At this point, I have little faith in the quality of Mr. Mattucci's work and am seeking some form of compensation to correct these issues with another company. I will provide a .zip file or link with many pictures of cracks, no expansion joints, and bird baths.

Attached is the email from [redacted], the company that reviewed the extensive damage to my driveway poured by Steve Mattucci. While last winter was harsh, [redacted] indicated they also poured driveways last season, and did not realize anything near the damage I am experiencing on a barely year old driveway. I have no faith in Mr. Mattucci or his ability to perform any repairs, corrections, and/or replacements to my property.
Here is the content of the email:
"After inspecting your driveway we did notice some deficiencies. It appears most of the cracking is due to improper fill and or no compaction to base before pouring concrete. There is also no expansion material up against garage wall or garage floor. Some areas of the driveway do not have enough cuts for breakage. The border wall may have structurally been compromised when tear out was done; this would be below grade. The wall area may be washing out below concrete which would cause the long crack along wall and for the entire slab to drop by wall. This area should have had an expansion joint installed as well. Any work to the wall below grade would be additional cost but we wouldn't know this till concrete is torn out."

Listen I have pre pour pictures of all my prep work on this project that will show a minimum of 2" on gravel base and wire mesh. I've already said I would have replaced the section against the garage. And as far as the section along the masonry wall Mr.[redacted] new that wall was junk and even mentioned replacing it down the road. But didn't even plan on tearing out the whole driveway so wanted to wait. We also repaired his chimney, and he was very happy with everything post pour. The winter came, the ground froze and heaved the driveway period. Like I said core drill it to obtain it's depth and I have t he tickets to prove it was a good pour. Thank you
