Working with Mature Transitions By Design and *** *** was a very positive experience She took over the management of our move from a reasonably large private home to a senior facility She managed the downsizing in a professional and painless fashionShe arranged for all items to be discarded to be efficiently disposed of including to a charity that provided documentation for tax purposes She insured that our new residence was upgraded to make our living ideal It included designing and managing the building, and installation of custom cabinetry for our living room, new furniture for our bedroom and a unique cabinet for our bathroom that hides the unused tub and provides wonderful storage space She also designed and managed the installation of a very efficient closet storage system which makes the area appealing, efficient and very easy to use She also designed, procured, and managed the installation of track lighting that has improved lighting in our living room and office Our move into the new residence was painless Everything that was moved including clothing, kitchen utensils, art work and miscellaneous items were in place when we were invited to come to our new residence Even our bed was made As a result of our successful move we have recommended Mature Transitions by Design to other new residents of our facility and residents who wished to make improvements to their apartments All have been very happy with their results
