Review: We have bought a house with Mau Realty, in our contract for the home when we made the offer to the seller, it stated there was a $250 seller paid budget on anything in the house that needed to be repaired before we moved in. In our contract it also states that everything has to be in working order before we move in. We discovered the cooktop was not in working order (it nearly started on fire while checking if it worked.) We told [redacted] at Mau Realty right away and he came with an electrician to have it looked at right away. It was stated in this meeting that we needed a new one and that the $250 would go towards a new cooktop. [redacted] stated to just go buy a cook top and he would reimburse us for 250 of the amount we paid for it. We have not seen this money yet. We moved in at the beginning of September and it is now mid October. I have placed several calls to [redacted] asking about this money. He keeps stating he is working on getting the money from the seller which he should have had from him before he sold the house to us.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive this $250.00 ASAP so we can pay off the credit card we put the cook top on.

Per the offer to purchase the cook top needs to be in working order.

This is a matter between the seller and the buyer.

Also please inform the lindsay morgan werth, the property has been closed for over two months and the seller is still getting the gas bill. The buyer should have transferred this when they occupied back in August 2013.
