Review: I purchased a stainless steel dishwasher from Mauston Home Furnishings. Reiterated to sales person that product and pricing was for stainless steel Maytag dishwasher. Invalid product code written on receipt. Call to store next day to confirm stainless steel product. I was reassured that yes it was. When install guy came, I asked again if product was stainless steel. I was told yes it was. Installed product ended up being a black dishwasher which price runs $150-200 less than what I was charged. Store refused to right mistake. Was unwilling to come to a compromise. Initially refused to take product back. Later store returned call and said they would take the product back. I was told not to touch it and that I was a worthless piece of [redacted] and a liar.Desired Settlement: I would like the misrepresentation of the sale product to be stopped so that other customers do not receive products valued at less than the price paid. I would like others to know of the unprofessional and lack of customer service. I want the money I was charged on a credit card to be reimbursed and do not want to incur any charges related to it. I would also like my old dishwasher back, as this business utilizes used products for parts to repair appliances in the area and also refurbishes used products for resale.

owner of Mauston Home Furnishings & Appliances, Inc. doing business as Maw,10n

Furniture & Appliances.

This letter is in regards to IO [redacted] regarding [redacted]. First of all there was a

misunderstanding about the color of the dishwasher. 1 was understanding that [redacted]

meant stainless on the inside of the dishwasher. My employee took the dishwasher to

her. She mentioned stainless and he said it was on the inside. [redacted] saw that the

dishwasher was black. [redacted] even talked to her about putting a stainless handle on the

black one. She absolutely saw that it was black. She lied to me about the whole

situation. She let him put the dishwasher in and then called me about taking it back.

I have taken the dishwasher back and returned her old one to her. I did a credit on her

credit card and mailed her a receipt.

You don't watch someone go thru all that work. She should have called me immediately

I would have refunded her money and all the work would not have been necessary. She
