Review: In 2007, I unfortunately put a 2nd mortgage on my house. Maven assets Mangt Inc. This company is a hard money predortory lender of **%. I saw their sign when I was desperate to pay bills by the side of the freeway. The market crashed in 2007 (summer) no one was financing loans. I've been paying interest basically all this time, my 1st is current a few months ago I decided to sell my house to get out of debt. I had a all cash buyer. Maven asset was charging me excessive interest when they knew this. Totalling close to $[redacted]- Which is crazy from a $[redacted]/ loan. I found out early Nov. as of 2011. They have no business license, it expired not renewed! How can they charge me this? Never have told me investers name.; Many change addresses and P.O. Box's, no acct #.Desired Settlement: This is a predortory lender, why have they no license. That's not lawful to do financial transactions. I want my fees reavced! They stopped my from selling my house.
