I had a subscription with this company which renewed automatically in September for 1 year. I canceled this in December and asked for a refund of my balance. They tried to pawn me off on the newsletter person that they carried. I bought the subscription from the Maven not the individual who's new letter I purchased. They now will not return any of my calls or emails.
Thank you for forwarding Mr. *** complaint ID regarding a subscription refund request. We have refunded Mr. credit card today 2/13/20 the $164.20 he had requested for the cancellation of his *** subscription. We have left him a voice and email message advising him of the refund. Contractually any refunds should have been provided by Mr *** directly. However, I do not wish for customers to be in the middle of a discrepancy. I do hope this takes care of Mr. complaint positively. I did look into why he was not contacted and unfortunately I show he received a few emails from us but the Executive at Maven whom no longer works for us mishandled the situation and should have escalated it to a supervisor. We will review escalation protocols with all our Executives to ensure future issues do not arise.
