I am rejecting this response because:When I showed them the damaged part around my window I clearly pointed out what was damaged and what I wanted replaced   At that time it was not informed to me that they were not able to replace the trim . I was not informed at that time nor when I called that the original glass that was not damaged would be replaced either.  The lack of communication and professionalism with this company was not my fault.  Therefore I should not have to purchase additional parts for them to replace.  I should have been told that before they started working on my car window. They were in a rush and it was clear the lack of communication between their office to their workers.  That has nothing to do with if I informed them of additional parts that I did not know was not a part of what they were about to replace.  The workers seen the damage rubber and strip and did not clarify to myself what they were completely doing. I should not have to pay for labor or any of there service. I contacted them that day several times to get an understanding and I was informed that it was my fault they did not understand what I wanted fixed.

We were contacted by Ms. [redacted] for repair the damaged strip around her vent glass on her 2013 Chrysler 300. The part in question is  made with the glass and the rubber trim build onto it. We ordered the part and installed it in Ms. [redacted] automobile with out issue. After the...

installation she contacted us to inform us that there was another trim piece that was damaged and that she wanted this fixed as well. Due to the nature of our service , customer calling into our shop and our repair in a mobile fashion, we were unable to see that there was any other damage aside from the glass and the rubber that Ms. [redacted] had told us about. Being a glass shop we are able to order things that are glass specific  from our suppliers. Trim panels etc. are not normally replaced in the corse or the glass repair and have to be purchased from a dealership or parts store.These are not things that are usually involved in the replacement of the vent glass. We informed Ms. [redacted] that we would gladly install the trim piece that she was concerned about at no additional charge if she would be willing to purchase it. Had we known that this piece was something that she wanted replaced in addition to the damaged trim around the vent glass we would have advised her that the part would have needed to be purchased in advance so we could install it. There would have been no additional charge for the labor to install the trim piece either way but the cost for the part was not included in the original quote that she was given. Our proposed resolution to this concern is to have Ms. [redacted] purchase the part that should would like us to install and we will gladly come in install it for her and no additional charge.  We look forward to hearing from her and hope that this will address her concerns.
