Maverick Marketing Reviews (2)

I was called about a Job at [redacted] in Lyndhurst and after doing my research saw that the job description they had given me was a scam to get me in the door for their door to door sales position. A few minutes later I was called by Maverick marketing also in Lyndhurst about a similar position. As the rep from Maverick went over the position the pitch was word for word the same exact thing as [redacted] pitch. Upon checking the emails I saw they were both in the same suite and office. Their explanation is that they are 2 different companies that partner on projects together and have two distinct staffs but share one office. However when I called to voice my concerns to the first company they laughed it off. As I called Maverick next they already knew what I was calling about which is interesting if there are 2 different staffs. They put there manager on that tried to explain to me how they are different entities. However the manager could not answer why if they are different entities are their hiring pitchs identical as well as why they have identical websites including whats written on them , in fact the only thing different on the website is the logo and header. When I told him that I researched them and that this seems like a scam he laughed and tried to get me off the phone as quick as possible. I now come to see that they are not just shady in how they try to "hire" people but also in how they sell or market products according to the Revdex.com website.
