Mavis Tire Reviews (%countItem)

The two attendants demeanors were apathetic and unprofessional. It was embarrassing. In terms of my service, I am beyond disappointed. Upon leaving the garage, I could tell my rear brakes weren't clamping as tight as they were prior to my coming in, even with unforseen issues, they were better before yet I knew as the sole driver , what I superficially needed. However, I came to a professional establishment to get a pinpoint inspection. I called prior and asked if that would be done and was assured it would,I asked prior to service, would an inspection be done. I was assured it would. When I checked out,I had to ask "Isaiah" or whatever his name was, if there were any problems. All I was told is my front brakes were at 50% and a brake flush may be needed. Within 15 minutes, at my first stop, I smelled brake fluid. I assumed the guys spilled it, and it was burning off. When I drove again, within another 15-20 minutes, I hear a loud pop and fluid is leaking from the rear of my truck. I call and complain, the Isaiah guy is super nonchalant, and comes off like he finds my situation humorous, which *** me off. At that point he further insults my intelligence, to cover his mistakes, by magically stating my rotors needed to be attended to, and that I only asked for a brake job. That I should tow the truck and he can't pay for it. A total loser response and expected. What mechanic on Earth allows a customer to leave an establishment under unsafe conditions, mechanically (rain as well)? If a proper inspection was performed, what establishment doesn't alert a customer during the process and add/recommend the much needed service to their work order? Allowing the customer to make the crucial decision. I am unable to drive the vehicle due to safety concerns. So returning to the establishment is not an option. At this point due to their negligence and utter incompetence,I may pursue legal action if this isn't rectified. I called the corporate offices in New York. I was directed to answering service.
Product_Or_Service: Rear brake pad change/repair
Order_Number: Work Order # XXXXXXX
Account_Number: Invoice # XXXX-XXXXX

Desired Outcome

Refund They were so incompetent, that I had to repeatedly tell the attendant, who's name starts with "I", that my rear brakes needed changing, not my front brakes, and yet the invoice emailed to me says "front". I would like a refund and the services and damage to my car be repaired by a competent shop within the franchise, credited by the corporate office: 358 Saw Mill River Rd, Millwood, NY XXXXX 914.666.6750 I complained that afternoon. It is 1:34p.m. est and have not received email or call.

I spoke to and. *** after his service and heard the disappointment in his tone during our conversation. I extended him an opportunity to bring his vehicle back to Mavis Tire Store #624 LaVista Rd., Tucker, GA, to have the brakes re-examined and adjusted as necessary. On our initial interaction prior to service Mr. was adamant that he only wanted rear brake pads and nothing else. We installed rear pads only as requested. Afterwards when Mr. called back and I expressed to him we welcome him to bring it to us to take a look at the issue again he repeated my statement to me in the form of a question, "take a look at it?," and he then proceeded to hang up on me. I called back to try to recover the situation but could only leave a message. If you look at our customer service for this location we're 5.0 Stars on Google and 100% on our companies net promoter score. We strive to serve our customers at all cost so it displeases me that Mar. *** did not extend us that opportunity but he is still welcome to return to our shop so that we can try to make it right for him. - Isiah ***. Store Manager at Mavis Tires and Brakes, LaVista Road, Tucker, GA.

This representative, Isaiah ***, is clearly illiterate and is commiting liable to cover poor customer service and potential negligence. I am going to relay this to the district manager, who I have been in contact with, as proof that this location is poorly run. I may elevate to further legal action if this rep and affiliates of this location continue myto disparage name, trivialize my complaint, and concern for my life due to their faulty work and very poor customer service.

We expressed to the customer upon our initial interaction that the vehicle is welcome to return and we're open to re-examining the issue. We 100% stand behind our work ethic, moral ethics and customer service and will always extend an invitation to this customer and any other customer to return if they ever had any issues and this customer is also welcomed to bring his vehicle back to us to correct the problem. I'm not into name calling, belittling or insulting anyone. Decorum is a principle that I stand on and will never leverage my integrity for a sale.

The issue has clearly been elevated which it should have been in the first place when the safety of a customer is at stake. The issue of getting the vehicle to a location was not addressed in this pad answer ,nor was an apology given for the unprofessional and arguably discriminatory behavior by those representing your company locally. Before you send a standard rebuttal distancing yourself of any responsibility and potential negligence, and attempting to police and characterize a customer's motives, you should know the name and gender of those affected by your location's wreckless behavior. Because clearly it's not about ones safety and satisfaction ,but if defending a company that has a history of dissatisfied customers, regardless of reviews. That I initially, to your credit, bought into. The location allowed me to leave under unsafe conditions, while being rude and unprofessional throughout the process, and flippant in their response to my safety and technical concerns. The only professional was a regional manager, who is being flexible due to our current health crisis, whom you clearly have not coordinated with and now have sent a message to me with this rebuttal, that I may not receive what was promised by this individual. Coordinate with your workforce before making failed attempts to police a customers safety concerns and their motives. Point blank.
