Max Glass and Mirror installed referenced glass railing for prior Homeowner/BuilderAt time of installation he was given specific instructions as to how to finish Stucco and seal glass shoe for waterproof protectionIt was conveyed to one Stucco contractor, but we believe they did not end up doing
the workThe work was completed after we performed our service and was not done as instructedThis in turn created a largewater issue during the unusually strong storms this yearWe went out and assessed the situation and at our own cost removed and reinstalled a portion of glass railing, completely sealed the perimeter where Stucco contractor was responsible and added additional metal trim and caulk to remedy problemDuring this time the original homeowner/builder was only involved by phone and felt we went above and beyond to fix situation! During the time we were out at this job the new homeowner pointed out some water stains on underside of front decksIn speaking with the original owner we felt that these stains were not as a direct result of glass railing and I had some concerns as to where the water may be flowing fromIt was requested that he do some water tests to look at source and go from thereI have spoken to him since this complaint was made and he was going to contact new homeowner and get back to me, but I did not hear back. I understand customers need to have all issues resolved, but feel that Max Glass has been left with all the responsibility to fix problems while not at direct faultItems where installed per request by original owners design and sealed with approved products. Max Glass and Mirror will contact homeowner and make another appointment to add sealant around front deck shoe basesThis should not be needed, but can help with identifying any other possible issues if they occur. Sometime 1st week of January, I complained to builder owners, insurance companies, listing agentsThe builder after months approximately fixed the problem in association with Max from MGMI showed all the problems along with Builder *** *** They only fixed the roof issues and the upstairs balconiesI learnt that Max is blaming the cement guy etcI have nothing to do with thatI just want my issues to be well taken care of
My problems with balconies are still outstanding and Max still has to test the other places where he installed the glass
Roof at present is fixed but we do not know what happens when it starts raining heavily
