I am rejecting this response because: This is the two times they worked on it. The first one is there first time in there. You see it says seal was seized into the front cover. Drill to extract. Nothing mentioned about a non ford seal. Nothing mentioned about seeing other problems. The second line is the second time in. Once again they had to drill it to remove it. Trying to say they had to drill it doesn't hold water over it being non factory if they even went that rout cause they drilled there own seal they put in it working on it out. Then second time now it's in the notes they had notified customer that it had problems on the first repair. That's not in there notes the first time. Nothing said. Ford charged for the repair. Warranty money paid. If it wasn't a warranty thing they should not have put there hand in the cookie jar. It's fraud now. I talked directly to the service manager on the first repair. I asked him point blank. You see anything else I need to be concerned about. He said no. Looks like a nice truck. I told him I want to know if you do cause I only bought the truck a month before and I was going to bring anything to show me auto mall's attention if so. He said no. Then this guy went on to tell me how he used to own his own shop and he basically lost it cause he was too brutally honest with his customers. He always told them everything just like it was. When it went in the second time I walked in and he was on the phone and I could tell it was over my truck. I listened as he was talking to show me auto mall on the phone. When done I confronted him. This was supposedly known the first time? He said yes. It was known. I asked why wasn't I told. He said guess show me auto mall didn't care to share that information with me. I realized he didn't remember talking to me his self. Well I got the whole honest Abe story again but this time a different ending. He didn't lose it cause being so brutally honest in his business as a mechanic. He had to quit cause he hurt his arm and had surgery. But was still brutally honest with everyone. I don't believe a word that place tells me. I was either lied to the first time or I was the second time and that guy could even tell his life story the same in two tries. They should not have lied to me either time but one way or another they did and now I don't believe one word that comes from them.

We stand behind our previous decision and statement. A couple of points however: Didn't commit fraud or have our hand in the cookie jar. 1st, as I stated in the previous letter, I have already explained the situation in detail to Ford. 2nd, we didn't know the crank seal was aftermarket until we already had it out. The rhetoric is ridiculous. All conversations between the customer and my former Service Advisor don't change the facts of the situation in any way. That is why I had the Service Manager and technician from Show Me Auto Mall come inspect the vehicle with us to show we didn't puncture nor damage anything. My decision is final.
