Here is my response to the complaint along with attachment e-mail… *** *** made a purchase at our store in November of for a Pub Table and Stools. At the time of purchase, the Pub Table was on our showroom floor by itself as the factory originally sent the wrong stools.
Michelle saw chairs near this table and ASSUMED stools went with the group. The fact is the Pub Table was priced and shown with only Stools. Michelle made a mistake, but we honored our error and didn’t charge anything extra for additional Stools. At the time of the sale I told Michelle that her customer shouldn’t have to wait too long for the Stools as I had already ordered them. Keep in mind I didn’t see the invoice that day and assumed they were waiting for Stools. We delivered the Pub Table on 12/1/15. We later informed *** that only stools came in and we would order her more. We delivered stools on 12/18/15. Miscommunication happened between Michelle and I as we both thought one of us had ordered the stools. Unfortunately, some time had transpired and *** called asking for an update. I immediately ordered the stools and asked them to be fedexed (see attachment). I tried to explain the situation to ***, but she seemed irritated and upset. Michelle and I took responsibility for our miscommunication and error and we assured *** she would get the other stools. A couple more weeks went by and the stools still didn’t arrive. Michelle thought weather may have played a factor, but when I followed up I was told the stools were on back order and probably not available until march. Michelle said *** called and got furious with her on the phone as michelle had to hang up on her. I then followed up and left a voice message with *** stating we would call as soon as the stools arrived. The stools finally came in and her husband Todd picked them up on 2/22/16. He seemed very cool about the situation as I apologized about the frustration. I don’t believe any reimbursement is necessary. Sincerely, Steve ***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, although the statements that has been made are not all accurate I was never hung up on yes I was upset and irritated after three months of following up with my purchase to receive all of the assuming, misleading and miscommunication done by steve and michele which I am sure any paid customer would feel the sameIt is not my fault for any of this and I feel like they dont really comprehend how they treated a customer whom they probably received a commission that didn't have to wait months for nor feel deceived by it. I have finally received my purchase that I paid in full on 12/At The end of the day I went there and was very clear on what I wanted the table with chairs I was given a price and paid it not my problem they don't know their product and I find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and will never make the mistake of purchasing anything again from max *** in batavia!
