Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Good morning ***Below is our response to Costello Landscaping regarding this complaintThis is the last response we will be makingWe don't want to be aggravated any longer by this situationThis has been going on since March 23rdWe have hired another contractor and are proceeding with the workWe have been homeowners for many years and have hired many contractors to do renovationsThis is the first time we have ever filed a complaintThat's how strongly we feel about thisWe would like this complaint filed against them if at all possible to alert other consumers to this unprofessional type of conductWe understand that the decision to post this is up to the Revdex.comThanks you for all your help in this matter [redacted] & [redacted] Costello Landscaping came to our house with separate quotes as we requestedWe requested the quotes so we could eliminate parts of the project if necessary because of costWe did eliminate of the areas of work immediately upon reviewing themThe 3rd quote however is the one we wanted to proceed with after some changes had been madeWe asked the salesman to remove items from the quote to get the price down to an amount we could affordWe asked him to remove the cost for trenching the downspoutsWe asked him to reduce the square footage and asked him to use a less expensive materialI gave him his drawing back with these items listed on itHe told us he would call and never didMy wife called him several days laterThe price he quoted her on the phone was higher than the original priceShe told him he was heading in the wrong directionHe apologized and said he was confusedThat is the last conversation we had with themThey never came back with the revised price minus those items we wanted removed from the original proposal.Yes, I sent them an email in an attempt to get them to respondThey never didI’m sorry they felt it was negativeMaybe the truth hurts Regards, [redacted] ***

Jun 18,Costello Landscaping is writing this letter in response to the inaccurate complaint ID [redacted] .The accusations made by this couple are fictitious and lacking several pieces of information that they must have forgotten to include when filing this complaint.We submitted separate prices for the work they wanted to help them better understand the cost of the workAfter our salesman presented the pricing to them they wanted some changes made to help fit their budgetNot a problemWe made the revisions to what they wanted and several phone calls were made back and forth to discussBut there really was not much discussing as it was the couple telling us what they wanted at a certain priceBut that is not how things workAs the couple stated in this complaint - We have been in business for over 40years, and the reason to that is because of our quality of work, our professional relationships with our customers, and because we do not just givejobs away for free.This couple did send us a negative email on 5-11-that we chose not to respond to.There is no complaint here besides this couple being upset that we could not do what they wanted at a price they wanted it forThis would be like someone walking into a grocery store and filling up their cart with groceries, and then telling the cashier that they only want to pay a small amount for it.With that being said, we ask that this complaint be deleted from our fileThanksCostello Landscaping Company
