Max Warehouse is one of the worst companies I've ever ordered from
I would give a negative star if I could! BEWARE of Max Warehouse. We ordered a Building Support Column for a home we are trying to sell on Thursday March 7, 2024. We were told that the column would be delivered by Wednesday and we would be given a courier tracking number within 48 hours. Monday, Tuesday no tracking number. No one could tell me why my item had not shipped. I asked to please speak with a manager or supervisor because we urgently needed the product as it's a time sensitive project we are working on. They started getting rude to me. Wednesday I was told they have 14 warehouses. The 1st warehouse they supposedly assigned the delivery of this column to was not able to do it. No one could tell me why. And I was threatened that they were going to cancel my order and by 1:15 pm they cancelled our order with no further explanation. These people are rude, they refused to give me an explanation for deciding without my consent to cancel our order! These people are horrible! This is one of the worst companies I've ever done business with! I'm warning you potential customers these people are unprofessional and unreliable! I would hate to see anyone else treated the way I have been.

Extremely pleased!
Belated kudos. It's Been Two Week since the install of are New Shower. They Removed my Old Tub, and the new shower Looks Awesome. We are extremely pleased by the great service and with the new product.

A big thank you to installer, Justin, who did an excellent job. He is a professional. He worked quietly and efficiently.

Also, thank you to sales associate, Bo Battle, who did well convincing and steering us to getting what we wanted in the new shower.

Max Home with its fine employees, service, and product is highly recommended by me Carl and my Wife Ann Maire, Defuniak Spring, FL.

Sales Consultant
Connie Mares came to our home to discuss converting our guest room shower/tub into a walk-in shower. She was very personable and knowledgeable about the company background and their products and services. We were extremely impressed with Mrs. Mares and signed a contract for this conversion to begin within the next 12 weeks. Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Costly mistake
Beware of the “Restocking fee”. If you change your mind for any reason they will charge a 15% restocking fee. Thats 15% of the cost of the job not of the supplies they are “restocking “. Even though my job was scheduled nearly two months out and they aren’t “restocking” anything I was charged 2000 dollars to change my mind. I spoke to 6 other companies and realized I was spending WAY to much money on ONE shower so I just wanted to cancel the job. Well expensive lesson learned I guess.

Customer service from company rated as poor.
Product seems it may be great. I will never know. This is a copy of two hours of explanations and costs for material and labor. No business card or brochures. No identifying references to company or person.

Extremely pleased!
Belated kudos. Two months have passed since our old dingy tub was removed and a new shower was replaced. We are extremely pleased by the great service and with the new product.

A big thank you to installer, Patrick Meyer, who did an excellent job. He is a professional. He worked quietly and efficiently.

Also, thank you to sales associate, Mike Mele, who did well convincing and steering us to getting what we wanted in the new shower.

Max Home with its fine employees, service, and product is highly recommended by my husband and me, Ron and Goldie Kruse, Luling, LA.

BATH SHOWER REMODELING
Beau Bevard came in to my home to provide us with the best deal on a new shower replacement. Beau also very calmly explained all the advantages of what materials would be best in his sales presentation. Beau was very patient to answer all question my wife and I had concerning the work to be performed. Beau also allowed us to chose the material and the style of shower to replace the old one with. He provided us with the best deal possible to meet the needs we have. This was a very pleasurable sales presentation I have ever attended. Thanks Beau Bevard for your service.

Bathroom shower
I had my shower done in 2017, the worst thing I could have done, the job look good. With in the three year the shower starting deteriorating. I called and they told me they was sending someone to repair it. They charge me $80.00 for a bad product they put up. Maxhome product is awful please do not put this stuff in your house. They know their product is defected and I paid 10.000.00 You will be repairing the job they did for years this was a bad investment and a down grade to my house

I have used MaxHome twice now - my first AND last time. $15,000.00 patio installation in 2014 has leaked from day one. After four attempts to repair the leaks, I have now been trying since September 2017 to get someone out to try again (it is now April 9, 2018). After two months of trying to contact them by phone this time around, I finally responded to a sales email and got someone to call. Set an appointment for someone to come out - no show and no courtesy call to cancel or re-schedule. Set another appointment, and they send a man who doesn't know how to do the repair. I was told they would send the man who performed the installation, even though he now worked in a different department (This is January 2018). Never heard from him. Called in February and was told he no longer worked for MaxHome and it would be several weeks before they could get someone trained. I called again in March, got a new person and appointment for April 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.. Guess what? No-show and no call to cancel. I called the lady who has to schedule these mns; She put me on hold, then comes back and tells me she can't get him on his phone, but that she would have him call right back. It is now 1:00 p.m. and I have yet to hear from anyone. Between these three misfires, I have lost a full days pay since I don't get paid when I leave work for these appointments. My next stop is to Home Depot to complain about their choice of contractors to perform work on products they sell.

Extremely rude sales person, was extremely downgrading and rude to my husband when we decided not to go with this company because we felt we found the same quality at a much more reasonable price. He down graded us by saying " you could not afford our company". He knew nothing about our financial situation and was only mad because we went with a competitor. He definitely does not have the best interest of his clients in mind. Only out to make a buck. Well guess what, he lost my buck and anyone else I may have referred to them. Too bad, so sad!!! If you cannot take the heat, get out of the kitchen!!

Review: Horrible customer service. My wife and I had a [redacted] Home Representative come out on a Saturday to give us a quote on a patio, my wife wrote a check out for the amount quoted. On Sunday during a bad rainstorm I was in a auto accident. My wife called immediately Monday morning to stop the services and request the check to be mailed back to our house. After many failed attempts to have a call returned over a two week period, it wasn't until I called and threatened the Revdex.com that we received a "courtesy customer service call" to let us know that our project was ready to go. WE DO NOT WISH TO DO BUSINESS with [redacted] HOME out of NEW ORLEANS, LA. Ph number [redacted]Desired Settlement: [redacted] Home must get the hard inquiries off of our credit report, after all, we called numerous of times before our credit was run to stop the services and yet our social security numbers were still ran.

Business

Response:

We are in receipt of complaint.

I am sorry the customer was not able to reach us. Our notes show they called in on the 19th to cancel the contract and we attempted to reach them before that.

We are processing the cancellation and will cancel the contract.

We apologize but will not be able to affect the credit inquiries in anyway as they have already been run.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

We attempted to call before the credit was ran but proceeded to get hung up on. And no calls were returned. We attempted to contact before credit was ran but was hung up on. It is not my problem that you didn't return my call. So as far as the inquiries on my credit you need to contact all 3 credit bureaus and dispute it through them.

Business

Response:

We will contact the companies that credit was requested for and ask them to try to remove inquiry.

We understand the issue and will try to help.

Please do understand that we have no record of any contact and also that all cancellation requests must be in writing.

I would be more than happy to go to my cell phone company and pull my phone records and highlight ever time me or my wife tried to call numerous times over a 2 week period. This will be off my credit record. As far as the cancelation fees for my checks I wrote I will cut those as a lose but the inquiries on my wife's and I credit will be off or I will get a jag attorney involved and we will have it settled in court.

Business

Response:

We have notified lenders and they will try to assist.

I am sorry for any issues. If you feel you need an attorney that is your right.

We apologize for not receiving your calls.

Please do understand we have been told by lender today that this process can take a while.
