We were called by [redacted] and notified that the mailbox was damaged while our crew was working at his neighbors. We told him that we would take care of it for him and apologized. We asked if he could still receive mail and we were told yes. The post was cracked and the mailbox had... some damage. We talked to his neighbor (our customer) and told him also that we would take care of replacing the mailbox. We had to come back out to do the final stage of the neighbors driveway, which actually happened to be today. The crew had with them a new post and mailbox to install. Which they did complete today. We apologize again. We did not mean to damage the mailbox but we said we would take care of fixing it and we stand by our word. We hope that this is resolved to [redacted] 's satisfaction.
The driveway was installed in 2011 as a top coat over the existing driveway. Top coats are only guaranteed for one year. This is because we can not guarantee the sub base or the existing asphalt. In 2013 we went back as a curtsey and repaired the driveway. It is now 2016, 5 years...
later, well outside the warrantee. We can not be held responsible for the current condition of the driveway. We apologize for any confusion but we do not have any records of appointments that were scheduled and missed.
