Maxwell's BP ( WRM Enterprises) Reviews (2)

Review: I bought gas on 8/18/13 and had to prepay with a credit card in the amount of $60.00, which I was told was for a pre-authorization and that I would only be charged for the amount of gas I actually got, which was $45.00. Once, the credit card statement came in the mail, I noticed that they had in fact charged me the $60.00. I called the store to speak to a manager regarding the situation. I was initially told that they was no one there I could speak to. I asked if I could leave a message for someone to call me back regarding a credit card charge. I was then told to hold on. As the phone was being transferred, I hear the clerk tell the man "here is some white lady talking about a credit card." The man (whom I later found out was the store owner) says, "some people don't have the common sense to know how to use a credit card." Once the man is on the phone, I proceed to tell him what has happened and he cuts me off, telling me that "I need to contact my bank if there is a billing issue." I told him that the issue was not with the bank, it is with his company. I asked him if there was someone else I could speak to and he told me that "he was the only person that mattered, and the only other person to speak to was God." He was very rude, condescending, and belligerent.Desired Settlement: I feel that I am entitled to the refund of the $15.00 which I over paid on 8/18/2013. The card was not processed as a pre-authorization and was charged as a sale of $60.00.
