Hello Mr***, I am the owner of Tx Ac and I first want to apologize for any inconvenience and trouble that this has caused you and your familyI am not 100% certain what all happened or did not happen at your home and I will do some researchIn the meantime I would be more than happy to send you a check for $if that would resolve your complaint with the Revdex.comWhat I can tell you is your situation is something every AC contractor is dealing with in the Austin area this past yearThis was the first year that they enforced this policyI know the city if Austin may not say that but that is the truthRebates have never been rejected for the reason yours and many others were rejected in I had a meeting with the owners of the largest ac contractors and many other smaller companies and they all have been cutting refund checks for systems they were installing and getting rejected by the city of AustinIt has been a painWe installed over systems this past year and were awarded Carrier dealer of the yearSo I can assure you were are trained and know what we are doing, but unfortunately we do make mistakesI stress in our meetings its not that we make a mistake its how we respond and handle making that mistakeIn this case we did not handle it well, I am not sure why office management did not take care of you but I will get to the bottom of it and make sure it does not happen againAgain so sorry for all the issuesLet me know if the $refund would be suffice [redacted]

I do not see how this is a viable complaint against usWe have to work in the attic and cannot control if sheetrock in the ceiling below cracks at the seamsSame would be if we were walking on her driveway and it cracked under our feetWe have to work in the atticWe did nothing negligent in this caseAll we did was work in the atticI do recall one of my techs mentioning this to meI did not see myselfBut I assumed this was common knowledge that if we are walking in the attic and sheet rock cracks below that this is not our responsibilitySame would go if a cable guy is walking in the atticCustomer made no attempt to contact us before she went this routeI feel this complaint should be taken off the records since we did nothing wrongPlease review this and provide me with adviseIf you guys feel like it is a viable complaint then please let me knowFyi I am having my general manager contact customer today to discuss with her as well

you a check for $400 if that would resolve your complaint with the Revdex.com. What I can tell you is your situation is something every AC contractor is dealing with in the Austin area this past year. This was the first year that they enforced this policy. I know the city if Austin may not say that but that is the truth. Rebates have never been rejected for the reason yours and many others were rejected in 2015. I had a meeting with the owners of the largest ac contractors and many other smaller companies and they all have been cutting refund checks for systems they were installing and getting rejected by the city of Austin. It has been a pain. We installed over 500 systems this past year and were awarded Carrier dealer of the year. So I can assure you were are trained and know what we are doing, but unfortunately we do make mistakes. this case. All we did was work in the attic. I do recall one of my techs mentioning this to me. I did not see myself. Customer made no attempt to contact us before she went this route. I feel this complaint should be taken off the records since we did nothing wrong. Please review this and provide me with advise. If you guys feel like it is a viable complaint then please let me know. Fyi I am having my general manager contact customer today to discuss with her as well.
