The customer made a purchase April 2, 2015 for our MAX Workouts book (invoice attached). She requested a refund the same day, which we processed immediately (proof of voided transaction attached). After she made her book purchase for $39.95...

USD, she was then offered an OPTIONAL free trial to our membership website. She did NOT choose to take this offer and was NEVER signed up or charged for it. The books contain the full workout programs there is no additional product, membership or payment required. This membership is a completely separate product from the book she purchased and to reiterate, she did NOT sign up. Even though this is clearly stated, there appears to be some confusion. We corresponded via email with this customer several times (see attachment) letting her know that we voided the charge immediately and we tried to help clear up any confusion about the products/pricing, but she was unreceptive. You will see via the email communication (note the dates/times) from our help desk that she demanded we respond within 5 minutes of her email to process a refund or else she was going to contact the Revdex.com. We make clear to all customers that we strive to respond within 24 hours (and usually much sooner), but 5 minutes is an unrealistic expectation. Customer is our top priority and our refund policy is simple if the customer asks for a refund, we process it no matter what, no questions asked. We have been in business for 8 years and this is the first complaint we have ever received. We strongly feel that this is a case of misunderstanding by the customer. As you will see from the attached email communications and as per her request, we processed her refund promptly she requested a refund on April 2nd at 10:47pm and we processed the refund on April 3rd at 7:16am (we are in the U.S. and the customer is in [redacted]). We also did our best to clear up any misunderstandings.
