I signed up for a year (2 memberships) 1-$10 and 1-$19.99 in June of 2018. In November I called and asked if my account could be put on hold because I had a knee replacement in October. I was told that it would be done. In January I noticed that they were still charging me, so I drove there and explained the situation again. They apologized for the person who didn't follow thru with putting my acct. on hold and said there was nothing they could do about that but they could put it on hold for the next 2 months, (no credit for the past 2). At that time I brought with me my a copy of my POST OPERATIVE REPORT to show that I indeed had a knee replacement. At the same time in January I asked to cancel the other membership on my account ($10.00 monthly) because my friend and I had parted ways. They told me that it wouldn't be cost effective at that time because I would have to pay a cancelation fee that would exceed the remaining amount I would have paid had I not canceled. I was told at that time in order to cancel I was to write a note of cancelation signed on paper and submit it to the staff. I did that in May and when I presented the paper to staff they told me that wasn't necessary that all I had to do was come in on the 3rd of June and cancel it verbally with any staff member. I showed up on June 3rd and cancelled the account and on June 4th they charged my account for another month. So in reality by listening to the (4) staff members it has cost me $130 for 12 months and 2 months they won't credit me for their mistake. I know the people working there try their best but they seemingly have there hands tied. There should be a way to contact someone other than staff or even a manager on duty to resolve issues but there cleverly is not.
