dated December 9, 2016, regarding a complaint to your Agency filed by *** *** ** *** In her grievance filing, she addressed concerns about her
nails that I serviced on November 20, 2016, and their growthShe
expressed
that after one week from having them serviced, they should not have grown to
where you could see new nail growthOn November 25, 2016, Ms*** came in to my shop to ask
me to redo her nails because you could see new nail growthI explained to her
that we are always willing to address the concerns of our customers for issues
that arise as a result of our work product or, for example, when a nail breaks
Ms*** nails were all intact and you could see where there was
growth having occurred as a result of one weekWhen we discussed her concerns about her nail growth, I
explained to her that nail growth is dependent upon many things, such as
hereditary factors, one’s age, sex, diet and even the time of the yearI
reiterated to her that we would be happy to work with her had she experienced
issues with her nails as a result of our serviceWhen I informed her that we
would repair a broken nail if that were an issue, she suggested leaving the shop
and damaging her nails so that she could then have us redo them at no cost to
herAt the close of her dispute, I offered to redo her nails in full and would
charge her only half price for this service; she declined my offerAt this time, I welcome hearing from you about your
recommendation on how this matter should be resolvedI do ask that Ms*** find a new salon for her nail servicesThank you in advance for your time and attention to my
