Review: May Roofing did not properly repair the specified section in our roof which caused more damage. May roofing took our money and did not properly repair our roof. May Roofing used only silicone and a piece of metal and did not put any shingles back in the area that was to be repaired.Desired Settlement: We do not want May Roofing back on our roop top and we want our money back which is $450.

This customer has a roof that is approx. 20 years old. I attempted in good faith to repair area which unfortunately did not work. There are no guarantees on these types of repairs by my company or any other roofing companies that I am aware of. It states on customers proposal that there is no warranty. Everything on proposal was done correctly. We loosened siding on wall and reworked flashing as well as fabricating and installing a metal pan at problem area. It is obvious that this 20 year old roof needs more then a 450 dollar repair which customer was made aware of. Although a very high percentage of these types of repairs do in fact work it is not possible to repair 100 percent of leaks. If this were the case nobody would ever install a new roof. Customer needs entire section of roof replaced and should have entire roof replaced. Thank You [redacted]
