Review: I enrolled my daughter in the MFA Studio's dance classes and I enrolled in her Fitness classes. I paid her monthly for the services. We signed up to do the Holiday recital (I thought it was rather odd for her to have 2 recitals a year). I had to pay for her monthly cost to dance, recital fee, costume, shoes, and then we find out that we had to pay for tickets at $15 a piece to see our child dance. I complained to her about having to pay for the tickets since we have already paid her monthly.She pretty much said "sorry you feel that way but you still have to pay for tickets." I feel that she did not give her costumers enough information when it was needed and I have heard several of the other clients say the same thing. I didn't want my child to miss out since she had been practicing so I went ahead and let her preform. We paid the outrageous ticket price for my family and then waited to see my child dance. When she finally did it was in a combined dance with older kids and she only danced for about a minute. What a waste of time and money! For Fitness classes everything was fine in the beginning, but I am a teacher and when we got closer to the holiday season she started canceling a lot of classes. I am off during this time and can workout more and then the classes were canceled. I then joined another gym. I was then told that I would have to pay a cancelation fee. I feel like she is taking her clients money and not giving them the services they are paying for. I myself am a past dancer and feel that there was not enough time in just 4 months one day a week to teach my child a dance, skills, and then practice enough to preform it in front of an audience. Her website is very vague and does not give parents enough information on what to expect. She will come out and say things to the parents after their child finishes practice but never posts it for everyone to see on the website.Desired Settlement: I do not think that I should have to pay the $150 dollar cancelation fee since I have paid her a lot of money already and did not receive the services that I should have gotten.
