Review: The company subs their work out to a local company that actually hauls for Mayflower, which I do not have issue with. The first day they only sent two people to start boxing our house, one the second day, and one for half the time on day three (six workers finally showed up later). They were supposed to complete the packing in three days but called later on day three to say they would be there the next day to finish. This delayed us leaving for our new house in Washington by a day. Once the truck showed up at the new house a week later (within in the original delivery window) we learned we would only receive 2/3 of our delivery and that the remainder would not be delivered for another week and a half. I asked why the shipment was not scheduled behind or with the first delivery and was told that all their trucks were full and that this was the soonest it could be scheduled for delivery. I informed them that we are missing the majority of our personal items (clothing, etc.) and that our children start school next Thursday and I start my new job this coming Monday. The representative told me that she would email dispatch and get back to me.Desired Settlement: Reimbursement of incurred expenses and undue hardship, and to receive our deliver by Sunday the 24th or Monday the 25th at the latest.

All items have now been delivered. They were delivered a week to a week and a half of original ship date. As of now there is some financial compensation pending as well as a claim on damaged items. Consumer states they would like to give business a couple of weeks to complete process and follow through with contract agreement.
