Complaint I made a appointment to have it worked on and paid over half the estimate up front kept truck for months, charged more than estimate by thousands I took my truck to these guys in Late October I ask them to keep it inside because it was valuable to me and they agreed to do so, they didn't start working on my truck until 3 weeks after my scheduled appointment. I recieved a estimate of what it would cost and paid them over half upfront, November comes around and still not much progress truck just gets pushed out in the rain everyday ,December comes around I am not getting anywhere but truck is going to be ready In a few so I go up there and they have it on the lift working on it . Will tells me that the first of the year maybe before Christmas I will have it back. Well Christmas and the first of the year comes around and still not much progress. I come to realize maybe my truck is in the wrong hands I can get parts online sent to my house within three days so why are we waiting months on parts? So yesterday which was 1/23/15 I decide just to ride and pick it up and take it else where. The original estimate they gave me included new axles for the front and rear with installation, new shocks with installation, install traction bars , buying new a arms and installing them, [redacted] tuning my truck and installion new tie rods and control arm limiters but when I go to pick my truck up when all has been done is wiring and turbo and fuel which was included in the original estimate they are asking for 2000 more than the origninal estimate and it's only half finished, I was in total shock how could your estimate be this far off when supposedly you do this everyday for a living and your half way down, on the downside I am glad I stopped them and paid the bill to get my truck back because the rate they were going I might not been able to afford it, I hope no one else gets done like this Desired SettlementNot sure how I would like to resolve the issue I originally wasn't going to say anything about them consistently lying about when the truck would be finished and leaving my truck outside but I was over charged when I picked my truck up and no chasis work was even done that was on the estimate the only thing I ordered different was a two step controller which cost 220 bucks Business Response Mr. [redacted] originally made an appointment with our shop at the end of October to have his truck tuned as he was having issues with the shop it was currently at and wanted a more specialized shop to work with. Upon delivery of the truck it was found to have a wide range of issues from poor installation of a turbo kit, fuel system, and wiring. After thoroughly evaluating the vehicle we proposed that a new turbo kit be fabricated along with repair of the myriad of other issues the truck had. After quite a bit of discussion we formed a plan of action with Mr. [redacted] and took a deposit to order the parts required for his project. A majority of these parts are custom built for the application and are not readily available at a store or online. Mr. [redacted] was informed of these lead times at the time of deposit and was never given a precise completion date due the the uncertainty in delivery of these parts and the time of year that was approaching (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years). As soon as the major components arrived for the build one of our fabricators began on the project and did not stop work on the truck until he was unable to move forward due to a component not having arrived. Mr. [redacted] stopped in the shop several times throughout this process and every time seemed very pleased with the quality of work. At no time did he mention any displeasure over any aspect of work on the truck. In the middle of January Mr. [redacted] arrived at our facility with a friend who took a number of pictures of the truck and they both seemed pleased with the quality of work and the time if was happening in. At no time did Mr. [redacted] express any significant concern over completion date with the truck other than an idea of when he might be able to pickup. On 1/23/15 Mr. [redacted] arrived unannounced at the close of our business day and stated he wanted to pick up his vehicle due to it not being completed. We explained that the truck was ~90% or more complete and we would like to finish the build for him as we have a lot of time and effort in the project and would like to see it through to completion. He was unable to be swayed from his decision and took the truck to be completed elsewhere. The balance paid was an accurate representation of the work performed as the project was nearly completed. Any additional items that were needed in the build were brought to his attention as they were realized and the balance due should have been of no surprise. Typically for a build of this nature we would have all of the parts ordered prior to taking the vehicle into our shop. This was not an option in this case as the vehicle was in a condition where it could not be driven so we stored it on site until the parts arrived and work could be started.

I dropped the car off at the shop where they said they modified the car and now it shuts off and will barely runs. Worst customer Service. My name is [redacted] and around August I dropped off my [redacted] at Mayhem where I was amazed by the look of the shop and the cars parked out front. All of that was short lived after I was told my car was finished and to come pick it up. I showed up, paid the bill and when I asked for my [redacted] sheet they said they didn't have one which is VERY WIERD. When they supposedly [redacted] tuned the car after installing my smaller supercharger pulley, as soon as I left the shop and jumped on the highway the car began to shut off. There was definite boost lag I paid it no mind and drove the car for a few days and the problem didn't stop the car was still shutting off on the highway. I called Mayhem and [redacted] told me to bring my car back in to look at it. A week went by and I called to check up on the car rather than them calling me to give me an update. When I spoke to [redacted] he told me he drove the car all week and saw no issues. I came back got the car and as soon as I left and got on the highway is shut off again. The supercharger wouldn't boost at all I just got a loud sound from it. IT IS NOW OCTOBER 17TH AND THE CAR IS STILL SHUTTING OFF AND NOT BOOSTING. AFTER GIVING THEM $700 IM EXTREMELY UPSET AT THE FACT THAT MY CAR IS RUNNING WORSE THAN IT DID BEFORE I GAVE IT TO THEM. This Is the worst work I've ever had done to my car, and I plan on NEVER taking my car to them ever again.Desired SettlementI would like my money back and I would use the money to drop the car off to another shop so they can actually fix my car.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] PresidentContact Phone: [redacted]Contact Email: [redacted]Mr. [redacted] brought his [redacted] to us originally due to a poor running condition after he had purchased it. As is many times the case with entry level performance cars, his car had been modified and prior to his purchase some of those modifications had been removed. As a result the car was running poorly. We diagnosed and resolved those issues, and he took the car with plans to make additional modifications to the car at a later date. Mr. [redacted] brought the car to us again along with some performance parts he had purchased which we installed and then [redacted] tuned the car on our [redacted] The car performed within the standard horsepower expectations for the performance modifications it had, and we road tested the vehicle with success. After the vehicle was picked up we were later informed that the car was "cutting off", and we arranged for the car to be dropped off and diagnosed. After two of our technicians drove the car on multiple occasions we were unable to replicate the issue and informed Mr. [redacted] as such. He was not charged for this diagnostic time. We have not charged Mr. [redacted] for any services other than what we have performed, and we would be happy to put the car back on the dynamometer for him to witness that it is performing as it should. While we can empathize with the frustration he is experiencing, we cannot be held responsible for providing a warranty on the entire vehicle after servicing only a very small part of it.
