I am writing this complaint to Warn The People of the Medical Neglect Afforded to me. I am a Resident in Ware County Waycross Georgia But I am posting on The Mayo Health Systems Medical Neglect and Incompetents. On 08/21/2016 I was admitted for Pancreatitis and had to have my Gull Bladder removed. on 08/23/and 24/2016 I had IV Infiltrated in both Right Hand and in the early morning hours of the 24th my Arm. In Simple terms the IV Needle came out of the Artery but Stayed in Arm.

At 06:02am a Male orderly came in to take my Vitals. As he was leaving I asked him to get the Nurse Debra N Peacock, Who came in about a minute Later. I Had shown her my Arm which Swelled to about three times the Normal Size. The PCU Nurse instead of Following Basic 101 Procedures and removing the IV. Decides to attempt reinserting the Same Needle into my already swollen Arm.

The PCU Nurse, Missed the Artery after Stating That I had good Flow. Their is a glass Vile attached to IV Line. I didn't see good flow myself and I was looking. The Nurse then Leaves. I am thinking she is going to get another IV Line. She just Left. The Morning Shift Documents And this is a Quote " Per night shift nurse Nikki, Patient IV Infiltrated". Nurse Nikki, Makes no Documentation to her actions of Attempting to Reinsert the Needle. At 07:45am The morning shift is Now Removing the IV Line. My Arm had Blown up to such proportions the Fluid had nowhere to go.

Doctor James Blasko, Of Waycross and Blackshear, Ordered me Quarantined. I believe it was a attempt to Hide the Nurses Negligence. Not 21st, 22nd, 23rd, But the 24th after IV Infiltration. Nurses are not wearing Mask, Gloves, any special clothing that would protect them from me if I was a Contagion. I have been experiencing Numbness in my Right Thumb and a weakness in my Right Hand.

Neurologist Nimi Patel, Of Waycross Georgia. Test show out of 10 muscles tested 5 come back with abnormal readings. I also have Signal Interference. I requested Compensation for Medical Neglect and due to violations of the Nursing protocol s I had filed a Demand letter meeting with Holli Sweat, and other Supervisors, on 04/12/2016. They admitted to the Nursing Staffs Mistakes and had full access to my Medical records. In Addition to that listed in my Complaint let me add Nobody Absolutely nobody Even Treated me for IV Infiltration!

I am going to go out of my way to post on Every single mayo health System Office, Clinic, Hospital, I do not care if your in Canada America Mexico, or Russia, These incompetent Medical professionals are out their. I am going to go State to State Town by Town City by City. Do not Trust them. To any Law firm any Attorney if you need a Witness to their unethical inept incompetents. I am more than willing to Testify. Thank you for your time.

We received a letter from you with customer concerns about Mayo Clinic Health System with the assigned ID of [redacted].  Mayo Clinic Health System values our patients and their families and when there are concerns we take those very seriously.   I am a Patient Financial Advocate here...

and have reviewed the concerns brought forward from Mr. Alvin [redacted].  A review was completed and we contacted Mr. [redacted] on January 10, 2017 and extended our sincere apology for any misunderstanding he had regarding the refund check he was waiting for.  Our refund checks our distributed from our main office in Rochester, MN and this was explained to Mr. [redacted] today by Kelly R. from our management team.  Kelly R. explained that he should be in receipt of the check this week and gave him her direct phone number if he should have any further questions regarding the refund.   He understood the timeline of refunds and agreed to call if he has any further questions regarding our refund process or if he has further questions on his account. At this time we are considering this case closed as we have received the account, contacted the patient and answered any questions he had.  If there are any further questions regarding this or if I can be of further assistance please call me at 715-838-5572 or email me at [redacted].  Thank you for giving us an opportunity to review the concerns that Mr. [redacted] brought forward.

I wanted to share this. We received a statement from Mayo Clinic Health Systems at PO Box 3034, Milwaukee, WI [redacted]. The statement was dated 3/10/14, and we got it in the mail on 3/12/14. The prior balance of $285.52 was paid and shown on the statement. The new balance is $638.50.

We received a phone call on 3/13/14, three days after the statement was created and the person said the billing was overdue. (The statement says the bill is due on 3/25/14.) I believe this is harassment, and they should not be calling people before a billing is due. We have great insurance, and most of the initial amount was paid by them, so this balance due is a drop in the bucket at this point in time. This is outrageous conduct for a renowned hospital. The hospital is decent, but the billing office is not.
