Review: We reserved a hotel room on 5/7/2014 for 8/9/2015 through 8/17/2015 with Expedia.com. We reserved it at the price of $59.00 per night, with confirmation that no further action, we received an email on 7/7/2015 stating that they could no longer accept out reservation, we called and talked to expedia and my husband called and talked to the manager and the manager said the price has went up and hung up the phone. Expedia wants us to move hotels and are willing to pay $200 towards a new hotel, but this is during the 2015 PGA Championship, that will only cover 1 night of the rate increase of our 8 night stay. Also, it will be impossible to find a hotel in Sheboygan.Desired Settlement: We would like our reservation to be upheld at our current nightly rate of $59.00, or for them to find us a hotel in Sheboygan and pay anything above our rate of $59.00.

On the night of our stay (1/17/15) my wife and I checked in and was given room 119. Upon entering the room we noticed it was extremely cold and that the wall heater was unplugged. The temperature outside that night was about 30 degrees. I plugged the heater in and no heat came out. I checked with the person at the front desk ([redacted]) and he told me to wait a little while. I did and heat started to come out. Then about 10 minutes later it stopped working. I went to the lobby and asked for extra blankets and he said he couldn't do that. I went back to the room and gave the heat a little time to work. We were freezing!! The heater was working very poorly. I then called and asked to be placed in a different room that had a heather that worked. He refused. He then brought a small space heater to our room. The space heater worked but very little. After several minutes I knew this was not going to be able to heat the room to a comfortable level that we could sleep. I then asked to speak to a manager or owner. He refused. I then asked for a refund so we could go find somewhere that had working heat. He refused. We left.Desired Settlement: Refund my credit card company. I have the charge in dispute right now but feel it the right thing to do is give the money back to them.
