Mazatzal Casino

I'm a local and visit often but the worst Chinese food I ever ate I and my son had it feb 23d ,and paid 42.00 and didn't eat it.what a waist!

Absolutely appallingly rude staffAs a guest of the hotel while on a business trip, I was treated as a "threat" by security as I tried to walk the steps from the hotel front desk the the exit doorWhy, because I was bare foot! That's right, I left me tennis shoes in my car and instead of wearing high heals while in my sweat shorts, I ran downstairs bare footAnd just so we are all on the same page, it was 7:00am with no other guest around
Just so we are completely clearThere is no sign posted in the Hotel, Casino, Casino Entrance, registration paperwork, or any other public site or provided documents referring to shoes being worn
There is no secondary exit for the hotel because they want to drive you through the CasinoSo as I attempted to walk out the front door, I was flanked by two security guards refusing to let me walk the stepsIf that wasn't bad enough, one of them followed me down the hall and confronted me againI was then threatened that if I used the back exit, security would have me arrested!!! Not only was I completely shocked but as a year old business woman, I'm being addressed as "kiddo."
Beyond disgraceful

My Family made my trip but Mazatzal Casino is rated -10 in my book. I was approached by a security guard at the front desk that told my Sister and I that we had to drink all of our coffee in the lobby or throw it away. I was in disbelief we were in a rush to work at the Payson rodeo grounds and we couldnt leave our hotel with the coffee we purchased in the casino. Then we stopped by the lounge and I only had my Navajo Nation Tribal identification card. The bartender refused to serve me, which is fine but instead of telling me that, she called the security guard to pull out his flash light and start interrogating me in front of my cousin. This caught me off guard again and I grew defensive and told him that Mazatzal is either sterotyping Native Americans and telling them to pour out their coffee because we are all desperately trying to get drunk. Plus, we prefer to be embarrassed in front of our company because we may have forgotten ONE of our federally issued identification cards. This is my proof of living certificate and has my birthday and all vital information present. My Family was here to devote their time to an organization that gave Mazatzal casino much business but I will make sure everyone I know and don't know about my unfair treatment and utter disappointment. I would rather travel to Phoenix for a better stay. Good riddence!
