Mazda 112 Reviews (2)

Review: I purchased a Warrentech warrenty through the dealership at the time of my car purchase in November 2012. In April 2013 I tried to reach out to Mazda 112 in order to obtain a cencellation form. No one returned my calls so I found one online to send to Warrentech to process the cancellation. Warrentech cancelled the warrenty effective 6/*/13. Since then I have made dozens of calls and left messages with many different people/departments to find out the status. I've even had Chase, the finance company, do the same with minimal reply. One representative of Mazda 112 told Chase that their turnaround time is 10 weeks. It is now over 12 weeks and we still can not get a hold of anyone.Desired Settlement: I would like the refund owed on the cancellation of the warrenty to be delivered to Chase, the financing company.

Response:

[redacted]:

At this time, I have not been contacted by Mazda 112 regarding complaint ID [redacted]. However, I was able to reach them. On three separate occassions spanning a few months, I was told that the refund check was in the mail to Chase (where my car is financed). The last time I was told it was in the mail was over a week ago and Chase still has not received a check. The company continues to tell me/Chase that the check is in the mail, when clearly it isn't.

Sincerely,

Review: I purchased an extended warranty with my vehicle in 2011. In April of 2014, I sold my vehicle and wanted to cancel my extended warranty and receive a prorated return as stated in the warranty contract. I tried, at least a dozen times to contact Mazda 112 by telephone and left numerous messages with different people and not a single person call me back. I called [redacted], the company holding the warranty and they even tried getting a hold of someone from Mazda 112 but were unsuccessful in receiving a call back.Desired Settlement: They are obligated to refund my warranty cost per the contract.

Response:

I have asked all of the [redacted] if they received a message from [redacted] and, unfortunately, none of them had. I wish he would provide me with the names of the people he left messages for so I could speak with them. [redacted], the [redacted], will call [redacted] to get the appropriate paperwork filled out for the warranty cancellation. Once we receive the paperwork back and signed I will put a rush on the cancellation through [redacted]

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me however I would like to note that [redacted] was one of the people I had spoken to and I also spoke with someone whose name I think was [redacted]. I can't say that its resolved until they actually call me. [redacted] called them as well and they did not return their phone calls either.

Sincerely,

Consumer

To date, I have still not received a phone call from this company even though I accepted that they do. Is there a way to reopen this complaint?

Thanks,
