Mazda of Wooster has seen this customer times from May to October 2016. The activity ranges from repairs to recalls to adding an emblem Each time the vehicle came into the Service Department a work order was signed by the customer. Each time the vehicle left the Service Department a repair order was signed by the customer. At the bottom of each of these forms is a “Disclaimer of Warranties”. The customer signs below this Disclaimer. I have attached a copy of one of these, but each and every repair order has this Disclaimer and each and every repair order was signed by the customer. The final repair involving the power steering even states in the description of the repair that there would be no warranty from Mazda because the customer supplied used parts. Copy attached. On each of the occasions the customer brought in used parts, the Service Department spoke with the customer letting her know that Mazda of Wooster does not warranty used parts. The General Manager participated in multiple conversations regarding the vehicle and the used parts. The customer’s response was that she would sign off on the fact that they were used parts being installed. Furthermore, Mazda North American spoke directly with the customer and stated she would need a power steering control module. The customer did not want to purchase a new part. Mazda of Wooster stands behind the diagnosis process and repairs it performs on a customer’s vehicle. Mazda of Wooster performs warranty work on Mazda’s every day, but it is not responsible to warranty or guarantee any aftermarket parts or used parts provided by the customer. Mazda of Wooster’s intent is to have and keep a customer satisfied and returning to our dealership

We received only one order for $from this customerSee attached screenshot We sent, and she received, one (1) 3-month sized bottle We did not receive any emails from her address *** We also searched for all emails from a *** *** and have
received none Did she check with her credit card company to confirm she was charged twice? It is possible she has mistaken a card authorization for a charge If she was charged twice, she should dispute that with her card company We will provide any other help needed to resolve this. Chris K***CEO

I am rejecting this response because:Mazda of Wooster should have stated they are not responsible for any work done if not purchased parts from Mazda and if a problem arose they would not fix or resolve the problemThey should have stated this from the beginning and I would have not made repeated attempts or had other work doneThis is an not acceptable business practice.Sincerely,Laurie ***

Mazda of Wooster has read the complaint and would like to request a clearer statement of the issue.  Mazda of Wooster will address any complaint, if at all possible. Additionally, on October 20, 2015 Park Mazda of Wooster was purchased by Mazda of Wooster, a completely separate entity. ...

Mazda of Wooster can only respond to the statements about the repairs made at Mazda of Wooster. Mazda of Wooster understands that the customer may be dissatisfied with the vehicle she currently has and its mechanical issues.  The vehicle is a 2004 Mazda RX-8 with over 100,000 miles on it.  The vehicle was not purchased from Mazda of Wooster, and for the most part, neither were any of the parts that were installed per the customer’s request.  Mazda of Wooster stands behind the diagnosis process and repairs it performs on a customer’s vehicle while it is in the possession of MAZDA OF WOOSTER.  Mazda of Wooster performs warranty work on Mazda’s every day, but it is not responsible to warranty or guarantee a previous company’s activities or any aftermarket parts.
