In response to a complaint with account number [redacted]; customer bought a car "As Is" without warranty and the customer did not even have enough money for the full down payment on the car. She owe us a balance of $700.00 which she promised to pay in 2 weeks from the date of purchase. But...

till this day, the $700.00 balance is still unpaid. The car was fully serviced and had no issues prior to the purchase, Plus, the customer test drove the car and found issues. One week after she had brought the car, she called us to complain about some vibration on the stirring when driving at 65 miles/hr. We took the car and paid for wheel balancing and that problem was resolved About three and a half weeks later, customer called to report that the car overheated and stopped running. She stated that the engine shut down and car refused to start. At this time we offered to switch the customer to another car, but she refused, So, we took it to the repair shop. A malfunctioned thermostat cause the car to overheat and lose all coolant. Overheating led to a blown head gasket. We gave the customer a rental car whilst we work towards replacement of the head gasket, water pump, thermostat and other damaged parts. Repairs and parts cost us $2,150. After the repair, we test drove the car for seven days before returning it to the customer to ensure that there was no other problems. But three months after the customer took the car, she called say that there was no other problems. But three months after the customer took the car. She called to say that she had taken the car to the Chrysler-Dodge dealership because she was still having some problems. She asked us to pay for more repairs at this time we refuse because she still owe us $700.00 and we could not put up any more money.

Reference to case ID # [redacted]; this customer expressed her desire to buy a 1994 minivan which we had listed for $2,200.00. She negotiated the price and we...

agreed for $1,600.00.  When we came to the table to finish the transaction, her neighbor who accompanied her to our business location, started a confusion.  He said he heard us saying that the care was selling for $1000.00.  however, the customer herself insisted that shee didn't want to leave without the van because she couldn't get around with disable daughter.  We empathized with her condition and dropped the price to $1,450.00.  But she didn't have enough money to cover the title transfer,  registration and insurance.  She only had $1,400 and her total came up to $1,750.00.  We took the insurance payment from the $1,400 that she gave us.  The insurance check of $143.00 is attached to this response.  Her balance due was $350.00.  but our secretary who was newly employed, mistakenly printed out for her a computer generated receipt showing $1,700.00 total payment.  This is why she is capitalizing on it.  When we couldn't get her to cooperated base on the receipt she was holding, I authorized my secretary to wave her entire balance for the sick of peace.  Her van title transfer, insurance and registration was all paid for by our company.  If you have any questions, please feel free to call me on my personal cell phone ###-###-####.
