I arrived at customers home and found both the ref and freezer warm at which point I checked to make sure the compressor was runningThe diagonsis that I provided was in fact correct; the ref had a sealed system problemThe ** ref is covered for sealed system parts for yrs however this is parts
onlyI advised customer she could contact ** to find an authorized servicer or replace the unit as labor could be quit high with this type of repairI explained that I could go no further with repair as the parts were under warranty through the manufacturerAny further diagnostics on sealed system would have been pointless as most servicers would perform their own diagnostics for warranty repairI am sorry if the customer at any time miss understood me I tryed to provide options to either replace or contact **Mrs *** was informed when she scheduled the appointment that there was an plus tax service fee and that is all that was charged

Regards,I was never told by birdsong that my ** parts might or WOULD be covered up to years BEFORE they accepted this appointment, as a professional appliance repairman it seems that he should have assumed that when I told him over the phone the unit was only years old and both refrig and freezer were warm to touch that he would have suggested I call ** sicnce parts should be covered (another appliance repair did suggest that over phone) but instead he arrived, took my $and in minutes was goneSounds like he wanted the $in his pocket before telling me parts are covered

This will be our last response on this complaintThe customer called for a service call on a refrigerator that was not coolingThe customer was also informed of the service call cost, regardless of time, this is a flat feeThe diagnosis of the refrigerator was correct, the unit has a sealed system issueHowever, we do not possess a crystal ballThere are many things that can cause a no cool situation that does not involve the sealed systemI am sorry the customer is not satisfied, but the customer was never mislead or lied to
