On Aug 1,we contacted Fortress metal bldgsabout getting a storage shed suilt for us They said they could get a contractor to erect it for us on our property We put a down-payment on a building My husband called them Aug 3,to confirm the contractor We were given a name and phone number, but when we called him he said he does not do that work We called Fortress back and they said they would have another contractor contact us The man that called said he did not do this work and recommended we not do business with Fortress My husband called Fortress back and canceled the order and told them he contacted mastercard to hold payment The manager at Fortress proceeded to call us times in the next minutes,leaving harassing messages We have those messages recorded and message said "Lon you are a coward to have your wife answer the phone for you" After more calls I told Fortress to stop calling and I was filing a complaint with mastercard and the Revdex.com A few minutes later Fortress called back and left a message saying they would refund our money and there was no need to contact mastercard or the Revdex.com I'm writing a review because this business guaranteed they would have a contractor available to erect the building and then did not uphold their agreement No business should stoop so low as to make harassing calls to customers I have kept the recorded messages on our answering ,machine and both the bank and the Revdex.com have heard the messages for themselves I think it speaks volumes when even the contractors they recommend advise against doing business with this company
