The customers complaint is very untrue in so many waysFirst I was hired to do the framework and did so with very exceptional resultSecond was hired to do the metal sidingThe customer claims that it was mentioned numerous times of unsatisfactory workWrong not once was it mentioned of any
unsatisfactory workWe had dissagreements about length of job but never the work Then the customer says there was no j-channel around ANY door or windowWrong againThere was jchannel around EVERY door and window EXCEPT the windows that were brand new which were made with BUILT IN JCHANNELThe issue with the soffit I have no comment on as I did not notice this as if I did would have been fixedThen they say no sealing of any doors or windows against any water damage that might incurThe windows were all installed with very expensive pella window flashing tape used on every window and doors as well ad tyvek homewrap was usedIn addition the jchannel was caulked to the doors/windows that required the use of jchannel that we installed And the ridge CAP not vent was not over hanging the house on the gables nowhere near one foot on each endThey were over hanging 3-4inches in which we discussed I would trim them for them. I immediatly came up with a solution to the customers issue and we all agreed on the solution and agreed on a date I would return to do the correctionThe following day I get a text from the mrssaying that my services were no longer needed and she would be contacting Revdex.com and her attorney They denied me the opportunity to correct the issue in which I guaruntee my work and would have done so in which we agreed I would the following friday. When the whole job started it took me and other guy daysman hours to grind on the top of the foundation to correct the foundation problems it was " out of levelI didnt charge them a dime for that and ate that costWas it appreciated? Obviously notThats $out of my pocket for the man hours that costedThen I had to deal with being written a bad check for over 2000$ that they did not have the funds in the account to pay for the labor cost at the time of writing the checkDid I turn them in for this? I didnt think soNot too mention getting cussed out a couple of times by the mrsDid I talk to her with that lack of respect? Absolutly notI also replaced windows that they wanted replaced with brand new ones that they still havent paid any labor on which was billed at $200. Long story short I am not perfect and never claimed to beHowever I am very good at what I doThe customer knows that I would fixed any issue they had to make things rightI told them on several occasions to please if you see something I may have overlooked please bring it to my attention so I can get on itWith that being said with the foundation repairs and the window installations and the remainder of the balance unpaid for the job I do not feel that I owe the customers a dimeI went above and beyond and practically built the whole house myself and did so with prideThanks!!!
