Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2017/02/23) */
When the vehicle first arrived here for the fuel leak, the steel fuel lines were leaking profusely We originally told the customer that the vehicle needed the fuel lines replaced and since we were replacing the fuel lines, we recommended
putting a new fuel filter on while we had it apart This was partly due to the condition of these fuel lines and how they would most likely be very hard to remove from the fuel filter without damage to the filter The customer did not want to pay for the fuel filter, and only authorized replacement of the fuel lines As we recommended, the filter was damaged trying to get the fuel lines loose We did not charge her for the filter even though we should have, due to the rust and lack of maintenance by changing the fuel filter at regular intervals We were attempting to help her with the cost of repairs
The vibration in the vehicle had nothing to do with the fuel lines The vibration was due to the vehicle running lean due to clogged fuel injectors This repair was declined by the customer At no time did we get a code to replace the Osensor But, an OSensor can get a bad reading due to many other issues pertaining to the fuel/air mixture
We did not at any time try to sell this customer anything that the vehicle did not need We have a very long history of servicing this customer's vehicles, and this is the first time that I can remember that she ever had an issue with our service In my opinion, we have bent over backwards to accommodate her, even picking up her vehicles at her house, and returning them to her at no charge

I did take my vehicle to pace because of a SMALL fuel leak and a fuel smell, not one that we leaking profuselyThey never once stated it was leaking profusely this is the first time they've used that description of this repairThey told me the fuel pump module was not leaking yet, but that it probly would soon so they would go ahead and replace that under the special services under GMThey then said I had a small crack in the fuel line and said they needed replacedquoted me prices one with and one without the fuel filterThey damaged the filter so they replaced it I don't see how that is bending over backwards for the customerThe vibrating of the vehicle DID have something to do with the lines THEY REPLACEDIt was because they improperly installed the linesbecause they failed to do their job, twice ( I say twice because they were given a second chance to look over their work and did not correctly place those lines) resulting in the actual fuel line rubbing against the brake booster this is why the vehicle was vibrating I have pictures of their work before the second mechanic FIXED it for just this reason that they may deny this Fact.the vibrating had absolutely nothing to do with the fuel injectors because those injectors are still in the vehicleThe OSENSOR was bad not the injectorsThey diagnosed the wrong partSo they tried to sell me a service I did not needIt would not have fixed the problemAnd yes they did pick up and deliver my vehicle after looking it over for a second timeTo which they still didn't find their errorsThe only reason they offered to do this and take a second look was because I emailed the owner of the company to complain and ask for his assistance in a resolutionI also received and apology from the person I was dealing with there for his rude attitude only because I sought help from the ownerThis company has not bent over backwards for meThey have refused to acknowledge their mechanics negligence with this serviceIf those lines would have not been addressed it would have eventually rubbed a hole in the fuel line causing a leak into the exhaust which would have very possibly caused a firethis company actually made me a rolling time bombAs they stated they have a long list of other repairs they've made on th his vehicleThat is true they are among shops I take my vehicles to be servicedI chose them for the very first service after I bought the car years ago with their point inspectionAnd among several other times never once did They ever suggest the fuel filter to be changed or inform me that the underside was as bad rusted as they are now sayingblaming the customer for lack of maintenance when I've only had the car years that's nothing I could have changed and the fact that they must have assumed I know everything that should be changed and when To say I've never had issues with them in the past is also not trueI've witnessed employees hawk lugies in trashcans behind the counter letting the snot drop out of their mouths in front of myself the customerI've also saught their help to repair wiper motors to which they said the motor and the transmittion between them was bent so they wanted to charge me *** for thatI took it somewhere else and got it fixed for *** and the transmission bar was not bad So to say I've not had issues is not true I've just not been so outraged by the quality I paid for and left in worse shape than when I entered their shopThey also stated when I picked up my vehicle after the initial repair they had driven it and it was all good and ready to goThen tell me why the in and out miles were exactly the same? Does driving the vehicle mean down the road like I thought or out the shop doors to the parking lot which is what it seems like happened?
The photos below show exactly the issues with the linesThese are not properly installed, period
The bottom photo shows the fuel pump module where it appears to have been torn from the vehicleAnd the rest of the bracket was not repairedIf they are jerking parts out of vehicles like this to damage brackets how do I know that it's the rust that caused the problems with removing the fuel filter? With the improper installation of the lines that directly caused the vehicle pedals to vibrate and the misdiagnosis of the running rough problem and the constant denying of any mistake on their mechanics part I could not justify returning to them for any service in the futureThe fact is they are at fault for the way my vehicle left their shop as it left with NEW problems they blamed my lack of maintenance on when they've been one of my mechanics and failed to inform me in the past of these issues until they need to try to use them against me

The vibration in the vehicle had nothing to do with the fuel lines. The vibration was due to the vehicle running lean due to clogged fuel injectors. This repair was declined by the customer. At no time did we get a code to replace the O2 sensor. But, an O2 Sensor can get a bad reading due to many other issues pertaining to the fuel/air mixture.

I did take my vehicle to pace because of a SMALL fuel leak and a fuel smell, not one that we leaking profusely. They never once stated it was leaking profusely this is the first time they've used that description of this repair. They told me the fuel pump module was not leaking yet, but that it probly would soon so they would go ahead and replace that under the special services under GM. They then said I had a small crack in the fuel line and said they needed replaced. quoted me 2 prices one with and one without the fuel filter. They damaged the filter so they replaced it I don't see how that is bending over backwards for the customer. The vibrating of the vehicle DID have something to do with the lines THEY REPLACED. It was because they improperly installed the lines. because they failed to do their job, twice ( I say twice because they were given a second chance to look over their work and did not correctly place those lines) resulting in the actual fuel line rubbing against the brake booster this is why the vehicle was vibrating I have pictures of their work before the second mechanic FIXED it for just this reason that they may deny this Fact.the vibrating had absolutely nothing to do with the fuel injectors because those injectors are still in the vehicle. The O2 SENSOR was bad not the injectors. They diagnosed the wrong part. So they tried to sell me a service I did not need. It would not have fixed the problem. And yes they did pick up and deliver my vehicle after looking it over for a second time. To which they still didn't find their errors. The only reason they offered to do this and take a second look was because I emailed the owner of the company to complain and ask for his assistance in a resolution. I also received and apology from the person I was dealing with there for his rude attitude only because I sought help from the owner. This company has not bent over backwards for me.... They have refused to acknowledge their mechanics negligence with this service. If those lines would have not been addressed it would have eventually rubbed a hole in the fuel line causing a leak into the exhaust which would have very possibly caused a fire. this company actually made me a rolling time bomb. As they stated they have a long list of other repairs they've made on th his vehicle. That is true they are among 3 shops I take my vehicles to be serviced. I chose them for the very first service after I bought the car 2.5 years ago with their 22 point inspection. And among several other times never once did They ever suggest the fuel filter to be changed or inform me that the underside was as bad rusted as they are now saying. blaming the customer for lack of maintenance when I've only had the car 2.5 years that's nothing I could have changed and the fact that they must have assumed I know everything that should be changed and when. To say I've never had issues with them in the past is also not true. I've witnessed employees hawk lugies in trashcans behind the counter letting the snot drop out of their mouths in front of myself the customer. I've also saught their help to repair wiper motors to which they said the motor and the transmittion between them was bent so they wanted to charge me [redacted] for that. I took it somewhere else and got it fixed for [redacted] and the transmission bar was not bad. So to say I've not had issues is not true I've just not been so outraged by the quality I paid for and left in worse shape than when I entered their shop. They also stated when I picked up my vehicle after the initial repair they had driven it and it was all good and ready to go. Then tell me why the in and out miles were exactly the same? Does driving the vehicle mean down the road like I thought or out the shop doors to the parking lot which is what it seems like happened?
