I am a one man shop so being able to do large job repairs at one time is not possibleAll of my customers are aware of thisArt wanted a cheap replacement engine for his truck, GMC K-with over 300,milesI sold him a low mileage block and cylinder headsAll other parts were
purchased via part stores or on the internetArt wanted to make payments on repairI told him I needed the parts money up frontHe told me to order the parts neededParts arrived but the money for the parts didn'tI was forced to return the parts, a week later customer shows up with money $shortI was forced to purchase were I could fit into his financial bracketThe customer went to another shop while I was on vacation to address an engine miss (not for a tune-up) and the driveline problem was not on the list of things to be addressedAll of the items pertaining to the engine were taken care even though the warranty had expired and it showed signs of being overheated as the heat tabs were meltedI have paperwork, pictures, etcto prove thisThe driveline did fall out and I did a roadside repairCustomer called and came by the next afternoon and tells me about the driveline incident on the highwayI made him an aptfor that Wednesday, bought a driveline and he never showed upThen he came to the shop again with a bill wanting me to pay $I never saw the old driveline, tow bill, or anything else.
Customer voided engine warranty several times after work was completedI have proof of everything
Customer got the parts he paid for and several he didn't pay for.
Customer did not check his oil or have his oil changed at recommended intervals
All of the repairs done after engine job was complete were done as a courtesy even though warranty was void
Customer also expected a brand new truck after engine was replaced even though the rest of the vehicle still had over 300,miles on it
