Review: I received medical services in May/June/July of 2014 and paid a copay at each visit. Nearly two months after my appointments concluded, I got a bill from Med-Billing Solutions saying that I had an overdue amount on my account. I called and left two messages over a few days with no return call, despite their voicemail message stating that they return all calls during the following business day. In an effort to make the contact stop, I paid the amount in full in September. In the following weeks I received yet another bill and many phone calls saying that I still had an overdue amount on my account. This time, after three more attempts to talk to someone, a woman finally picked up the phone. She assured me that she would figure out the problem and get back to me. I never heard back from her and continued to receive somewhat menacing phone calls. Once I finally got a hold of her again, she apologized and sent me a line-by-line accounting of the bills and payments. It showed that (from my previous payment) they had not credited my account by exactly the amount still due. I pointed the discrepancy out to her and she said she would look into it further and make the contact stop. In early November I received yet another bill and more phone calls for the smaller amount that I had already paid. I was once again assured that the contact would stop. It continued on. At the end of November, I decided to just pay the small amount again to ensure that the calls and bills would cease. At the end of December I received yet another call saying that I still had an overdue amount. I called back and left a message to tell them that I had paid the amount twice and that the contact needed to end. I received a call days later and the woman said that they had not received the payment. According to my bank, the check had been deposited on the day it was received. Now this company is requiring me to provide a copy of the bank issued check so they can straighten it out. New year and still no resolutioDesired Settlement: I would like them to refund me the amount I overpaid, and for them to stop contacting me.
