[redacted],                   This is [redacted] from MC Auto, llc and I'm responding to complaint #[redacted].  To sum up this issue in quick response, I did offer these customers their money back, but I guess that did not resolve their issue....

 But there is a little more to this situation so I will explain the whole story.     This is NOT the first car this customer has bought form me, or the second, it is their third.  They are still driving the first one I sold them, that I know is doing extremely well.    They even bought a second car from me,  for the son because the first car was that good.  The son was in an accident and damaged the car.  So we helped him fix the car.  We even took parts off an old parts car and put them on his car,,, for free.  He needed some body parts and we were happy to help him get his car back on the road after he wrecked the car.  Then he wrecked the car,, again.  We towed his car, for free.  Then they had no place to store the car until it was fixed or sold, so we stored it on our car lot, for free for an extended period of time,, for free.  Then they decided to sell the car for scrap, so we sold the car for them.  We advertised it, dealt with customers, and also did his paperwork for him.  Then these customers wanted to buy a very inexpensive car to replace his wrecked car.  They had very little to no budget, so again we tried to help them and told them we would sell them an older 1991 Toyota 4 runner.  We wanted 1500 for the car but they only come up with 1250, so I sold it to them anyways.  That was on Jan. 15, 2016.  In April they had a drivability issue, So I towed their vehicle  [redacted] in Liberty,, for free.  About a week later the customer contacted me telling me it needed 1400 in repairs.  I told them I would NOT spend $1400 on a $1250 vehicle.  So, I drove to [redacted] and talked to [redacted].  I told him NOT to do the work, I was going to return the customers money to them.  The customer had had a few bad words towards me and I didn't want an unhappy customer that was cussing me, so refunding their money they spent purchasing the vehicle was an easy decision.   He informed me they had already [redacted]d the work, and $1400 was what she owed.  I still told her I would return their money, the 1250 and back the deal out, but after spending $1400 she wanted more money .    At that point I left the ball in their court.  I even talked with the customer's son who was the driver of the car and asked him what I needed to do to make him happy.  I told him I would open my checkbook and write him a check for some money, or, even offered him a free car,  just trying to help their situation.  About 5 minutes after I chatted with the son, the mom texted me and called me a no good liar and she was not done with me yet.  So I told her to tell her son the offer I just extended to him was then retracted.  I did find out that if she had not bought a brand new part for this 1991 vehicle, she could have fixed this problem for maybe even under $100, but under $200 for sure.     Then this customer went as far as to contact the Highway Patrol and tell them we were in ca-hoots with the shop that does some of our Missouri safety Inspections and that they would pass anything for us.  Well, the shop actually failed this vehicle, and we had to take this vehicle to another shop to have work preformed to make it pass inspection.  We have the failed inspection slip that was signed BY this customer, and the receipt of the work preformed at another shop to make it pass inspection.  We will forward both these documents to you also.  We don't mind if the customer states a "real" concern or problem, but to make things up and lie to authorities to try to make her position look better we don't appreciate.  It  borders on the edge on slander.     I feel bad mentioning this too, but I should answer her issues in the complaint, so, she stated that "our" mechanic would never return her calls.  Well, "our" mechanic that she is referring to is actually "her" old boyfriend and NOT our regular mechanic.  If he is  not answering or returning her calls, it is at a personal level and has NOTHING to do with any work on this vehicle.  He does do some work for us, occasionally.  He does about 10% of our needed mechanic needs.        In summary,  She was correct by saying I did offer their money back, I felt bad, but after she spent $1400, she wanted that back also.  I had NO problem returning their money, the 1250 for the vehicle, but her spending 1400 on a 1250 vehicle was on her.  Then, when I would not giver her 1400 plus 1250,  like she stated in her complaint, will report me to every agency she can.  She can continue to tell every agency she can about us but I just wish she would focus on where she should direct her problem, and it is NOT with us.  He have a signed buyer's guide form her stating "as-is", a signed car fax from her, a signed general release from her, and receipts  showing repairs to the vehicle to comply with Missouri state safety inspection.  After this customer made false statements to the Missouri State Highway Patrol about our business practices, I have no interest in helping her any more than I already have.   The shop that did the exhaust work stated if she had any problems with their work, they would be pleased to accommodate her if need be. Here is a list of contacts of
