This Attorney mishandles clients funds, he lies to a potential client as he tells them how much money it would cost them if they decide to hire him. He gives a flat fee rate, which handles the entire case from finish to end as long as it is settled prior to going to trial. If no plea or settlement of case and the client is forced to go to trial then would there be an additional fee, which would be 2500.00 each trial day. So if the trial were to last 2 days, then the client would have to pay 5000.00. If he calculates that he believes that the trial will take three days then it would cost 7500.00. Now if the case settles then all fee's would be in the initial flat fee. Attorney M[redacted] hand wrote a receipt with his fee's 3500.00 flat fee, unless trial would take place. Mr. M[redacted] made the client pay 7500.00 for a trial because he felt that the prosecutors of the case were not going to entertain a plea. However in the process of the State going over evidence, other cases were settled were the prosecution plea bargained with the defendant from a felony to misd. These cases were printed in the paper [redacted] After presenting these facts to the prosecution my case then was plea bargained. My case never going to trial Attorney M[redacted] refuses to refund the money paid to him for representing a trial case. Attorney M[redacted] was found guilty by the Wisconsin Lawyers of Regulation for separate case for mishandling clients funds. He was license was suspended from April 2015 till Sep. 2015. Now he is being investigated again, he also has a poor standing with the IRS as well, his reasons for practicing such deception is pretty clear if you look into his own legal issues with the IRS and not paying taxes. He started taking clients money and providing almost no record's so he could hide the income from the IRS. He made it seem like his flat fee rate was the only income and then would strong arm clients into paying more. Attorney M[redacted] is an Attorney not to be trusted and as business practice it is clear his business ethics are not to be trusted.
