Tevevision that was brought in for lamp/bulb replacement and after being diagnosed was claimed non-repairable. Request for the television was denied.
On April 27, 2011, I brought my 65" Mitsubishi DLP HDTV, model number [redacted] and serial #[redacted] in for lamp/bulb replacement, as this was displayed on the screen.
The "Replace Lamp Soon" light had came on and was an indicator to have the television serviced.
I brought my television to M C Electronics and was told by the owner to leave it with him for a free diagnosis.
I returned within a week to check the status of my television, and was told, by the owner, that the computer had went out on it. I was told at that time that it would be best to scrap my television, and told to go purchase a new one.
When I asked for my television back, a different Mitsubishi with a different model number([redacted] was brought from the back of the store and was told by the owner that this was my television. I did not accept the television that was brought out. I again asked for my television, providing my original paperwork and explained that I would contact the authorities for advice in the matter.
I contacted dispatch and was provided with the case number [redacted].
The 65" Mitsubishi HDTV DLP, 1080p was purchased on March 11, 2008, at [redacted] for the cash price of $2,316.92
The item number is [redacted] and serial number is [redacted].
At this time, it is in my opinion, that the television has been sold or used for parts, as my request for the return of my property has been denied.
