After close inspection, testing and comparison to a new item it was in my professional opinion that there was nothing wrong with the item returnedI explained to the customer that an item with nothing wrong with it could not be returned to the manufacturer for warrantyI also explained to the customer how to make a minor adjustment to the part that would resolve the issueCustomer refused to except my professional opinion or my recommendationsItem was sent back to the customer in the same condition in which it was receivedWhen the customer received the item it had been damaged during shipment by UPSThis of course is a different issue and the customer has been sent a new part

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below The business did send out a new unit However, the original unit that was sent back WAS defective, the unit DID make a loud metal on metal vibration sound, this sound should NOT be audible in a properly working componentNo internal parts on this inducer motor should rub against one anotherNo inducer motor/furnance makes this sound at allNo one could ever mistake this as being a "normal" sound "Adjustments" by the end user/homeowner to the internal working mechanisms to a newly purchased product should be necessary There is NO REASON WHATSOEVER, that Mr [redacted] could not and should not have returned the item back to the original manufacturer. The defective motor was returned to the company enshrouded in bubble wrap Air Dynamic's claim of receiving the package in a broken manner should have been reported to both UPS and to us, the purchaser/sender immeditely and was not Furthermore, damage by UPS does not explain the missing parts returned, owner clearly claims to have inspected the part throughly, if that indeed happened, then he had to remove components of the motor to see inside, removing parts which clearly = the miscparts not being returned - not UPS damage A mistake that is reasonable and can occur, but should not be blamed upon UPS Bottom line, we received what we hope to be a sound replacement, however it took a lot of nonsense and accusations on the part of Air Dynamics against us, and this Revdex.com complaint in order to get resolution Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
The business did send out a new unit.  However, the original unit that was sent back WAS defective, the unit DID make a loud metal on metal vibration sound, this sound should NOT be audible in a properly working component. No internal parts on this inducer motor should rub against one another. No inducer motor/furnance makes this sound at all. No one could ever mistake this as being a "normal" sound.  "Adjustments" by the end user/homeowner to the internal working mechanisms to a newly purchased product should be necessary.  There is NO REASON WHATSOEVER, that Mr. [redacted] could not and should not have returned the item back to the original manufacturer. The defective motor was returned to the company enshrouded in bubble wrap.  Air Dynamic's claim of receiving the package in a broken manner should have been reported to both UPS and to us, the purchaser/sender immeditely and was not.  Furthermore, damage by UPS does not explain the missing parts returned, owner clearly claims to have inspected the part throughly, if that indeed happened, then he had to remove components of the motor to see inside, removing parts which clearly  =  the misc. parts not being returned - not UPS damage.  A mistake that is reasonable and can occur, but should not be blamed upon UPS.  Bottom line, we received what we hope to be a sound replacement, however it took a lot of nonsense and accusations on the part of Air Dynamics against us, and this Revdex.com complaint in order to get resolution.

After close inspection, testing and comparison to a new item it was in my professional opinion that there was nothing wrong with the item returned. I explained to the customer that an item with nothing wrong with it could not be returned to the manufacturer for warranty. I also explained to the...

customer how to make a minor adjustment to the part that would resolve the issue. Customer refused to except my professional opinion or my recommendations. Item was sent back to the customer in the same condition in which it was received. When the customer received the item it had been damaged during shipment by UPS. This of course is a different issue and the customer has been sent a new part.
