Horrible service with Summer windsI agree with everything the previous person saidWe were also lied to, untruthful about what was really going to be charged forWe were sold for tickets for the little mermaid at the mid way threw the wax museumThe sale man was not honest and liedDo not agree to anything he tries to sale!!! My husband and I bought a package for $ [redacted] to go and visit Summerwinds Resort in Branson, MO Since that time my husband lost his job It has put us behind and there is no way we will be going down there since we have had to make changes in our lifeWe will not be able to buy into a timeshare I asked if we could have our $ [redacted] back because of the circumstances I even sent documentation showing what we were receiving in unemployment You would think that they could see it is not fesiable for us to go and will not even in the next year I got a response back today saying that they could not give us the money back and that we need to find someone else to take our spot I will not do that to other people If they wanted to do that they will do that on their own I talked to the reservations manager and he was awful and not helpful and kept telling me to find someone or maybe in a year we could No I'm not and the fact that they have no empathy for unemployed people because of their own greediness is awful Do not work or visit this place They are awfulI will never recommend this place to anyone They make more money in a day than I do and they can't give back $*** Stupid!!!!!

Buying into this resort, along with them representing interval,has been an enlightened experienceNo matter how many questions you ask to protect yourself from being taken advantage by them, very good at not telling the whole truthSent our paper work a few months after pursing so now we get a better understanding and want outNice if they gave everything right than so you could see and call about things before your time is up to returnEven thought they say by back, that's after they sell them allWhy can't they sell yours so their "beautiful resort" doesn't go down hill! Great talkers, do what I should have done, stay with your travel agentBy the way, I paid cash and it still took over months to get all the info

Horrible HORRIBLE customer service, the sales team are a bunch of liars (gotta get that commission somehow!) and the reservations team just shrugs their shoulders and "sorry but there is nothing we can do" over and over again This is a company of poor service and high excuses, save your time and money! Or you will be having high blood pressure over unsatisfactory phone calls from these SCAMMERS

We had the displeasure of being talked into this time share showing in order to get discount tickets to Dixie StampedeAs soon as the salesman found out we were not going to buy into the property he became very rude and belittlingHe called us red necks that didn't care about helping our family because everything he said was in writing and the best thing on planet EarthIs there another planet you can vacation on? Even if we were interested in the property we would never deal with someone so pushy and disrespectfulWhen he got to the end of his presentation and asked if we were interested and we said no he said of course not and slammed his book on the table

What a horriable and costly mistake we made when we got talked into purchasing a timeshare with SummerwindsMy wife and I have never been treated so underhandedly than by *** the Salesperson we talked toHe lied to us about every aspect of Summerwinds he was untruthfull underhanded and misleading in his sales pitchEverything that he told us was either a outright lie or a half truthBut we could not check anything out because it took days to get the website password to do anything on their webpagewhen we found out we had been lied to and mislead we tried to call into a ***, but he would not take our callWe gave them about *** to own property in Branson Missouri and we cant get a reservation to go there or get on to the property when we are down thereSo far we have regretted every second of our purchase and wish someone would file a class action suit against SummerwindsWe would sign up in a second

Our experience with this time share has been a nightmare! We cannot get anytime booked, impossible to get a call back when leave message, and then informed that ours is only good for one week and starts in 2016! This is nothing as we were told by [redacted] in our 2 1/5 hour sales pitch! We were taken down so many roads it was impossible to know where we were anymore. But when we decided the VIP might work for us, you couldn't wait to get us to sign over our life! Now, why would we agree to spend $[redacted] for a one week a year trip and then starting in 2016! ARE YOU NUTS! Well, Branson Chamber of Commerce is going to hear about this. So is [redacted] and all our friends. We may NEVER come back to Branson again! SHAME ON YOU! PEOPLE BEWARE ! I wish we had walked away, Now we may have to give this away to the Church!
All we want is our money back.....ALL OF IT! We will be on your doorstep again if this does not happen and let everyone know before they walk thru your doors what happened to us!

BEWARE!! We have owned a time-share with Summerwinds, [redacted] Village for about 10 years and have only been able to use it twice. They never have been up front with us about how to use it. With every answer to our many questions we just get more confussed and more MISINFORMATION! We have invested too much time and money into this. It is not what is promised and we can not get anyone to help.
Forget about depositing your time in hopes of going somewhere, up grade fees and other fees that are not supposed to be charged, and all they have are excuses!
We feel this is the BIGGEST SCAM EVER!!

We purchased a package in November, 2015. It turns our that my purchase was not at all what I thought it was. I understood we had two weeks a year. I have been told we have one week every third year. My husband is 76, why would we make such a purchase? Why would any fair, honest salesman put something like that off on us.
Also, the salesman told me I would be able to exchange a week for March, 2016, at Orange Beach. I gave this week to my girls for Christmas. They need to go there for a ball tournament with our grandchildren. He said to wait until January to make the reservations. I spend everyday on the phone trying to check for availability
Also, I was supposed to have an additional two free weeks. We are going to go if back and see if they will buy it back in March. What do you think?????

Horrible service with Summer winds. I agree with everything the previous person said. We were also lied to, untruthful about what was really going to be charged for. Because my husband is in the military we dont make that much ( if they were educated at all about military they would know) well when the liar sales men initially filled out the paper work we marked [redacted] for income. The summers wind pitch, my hubby accidently checked wrong box they made us pay [redacted]

Everything the previous reviews have said is TRUE! This company and those that represent them are unscrupulous. When I was an owner I dealt with several levels of mgmt trying to get resolution for all the situations that occurred that they don't tell you about when they are strong-arming you and lying to get you buy into what will end up being a lifetime nightmare. EVERYTIME, and there were many, that I met with them, the answer was always UPGRADE, spend more $$ (always in the thousands). If you refused to upgrade and spend more $$ they were done with you and got you out of there, moving on to the next victim. For the $$$$ that I spent owning and paying maintenance fees for the privilege of staying at Stormy Point Village for 2 weeks (because that's all that I could manage to get), I could have stayed in years of 5-star hotels for many weeks. One unit we stayed in was nice and clean and well maintained. The other was a dump, looked like it hadn't been painted in years, door hinges off, gashes in the wall, uh, the list goes on. I, like many others, was excited about buying based on all the promises and glorified lies we were told only to be very disheartened when the truth prevailed. Immediately felt violated. When I bought mine I didn't own a computer or an iPhone and it never occurred to me to find one and look up customer reviews or the Revdex.com, oh, but, of course, I was told I could not take time to think about it, I had to buy on impulse or all the "perks" would no longer be available, and in my starry-eyed head I didn't want to miss out on a good deal. Getting a reservation was never easy, reserving your own deeded place was never easy like they told you it would be, never anything available. My coworkers would ask, "Why would you spend that kind of money for a place that you can never stay?" Well, when I purchased I took the salesman word and didn't know I wouldn't get anything in return for my money. If you are reading this and thinking about buying don't assume you will always get to stay where you own. Chances are you will have to pay to stay somewhere else. I had so many lies told to me that everytime you dealt with them you just assume they were all lying. I paid a hefty fee to have them list my property and sell it for me with the assumption they handled it with a real estate person and that person would try and sell for you. NO, they take your money and add it to a listing of a gazillion others that no one knows exist. Then, the word got out that Summerwinds was getting ready to send out assessment notices to those that pay on time to make up for those that don't pay at all, that's when I said enough and paid a company to take it off my hands. I too wish there would be a class action suit. I would jump on board with the rest. I was told by one of the many salesman I encountered that they make a 6-figure salary and that's all that matters. No conscience in any of them as far as I could tell.

We stayed at [redacted] Hot Springs in NV in October 2013 (and viewed their timeshare presentation) and were very disappointed. [redacted] is "sponsored" by and "developed" by Summerwinds Resorts who makes the reservations and calls the shots.

On 10/14/14 their phone solicitor [redacted] called and told me they had just finished improving the property and would like us to return and give it another try. As it is in a beautiful area, I told her I would discuss it with my husband and see if there was a time we could go. She said I had to "act now" and could give me a "one time offer." She said there was absolutely no risk and if my husband did not want to go, or we did not have the time, we could get a full refund at any time. She also said we would not have to attend the presentation again.On 10/21/14 I received a confirmation letter. The letter indicated a 72-hour right to cancel, another mandatory presentation and other inaccuracies. I immediately called [redacted] Hot Springs and their parent/partner Summerwinds Resorts to request a refund. I have been promised calls back from "supervisors, but no calls have been received. After several days of broken promises I have instituted a dispute with my credit card company. However, that is a lengthy process.These are companies that rely on deceptive business practices on an ongoing basis. Revdex.com and Chamber of Commerce -- please put pressured on Branson, MO to expose Summerwinds and shut them down. They have not interest in treating people fairly.

My wife and I would like to take the time and just say how much we have enjoyed our time at Stormy Point. We have taken our children for the past five years and made some incredible memories. The resort is definitely 5 star. Its clean well manicured and the most friendliest people around. Thank you so much for the memories that will last a lifetime. For us our children and grandchildren.
